CURT 45405 Receiver Reducer Sleeve for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches

I don't know why some folks complain about this adapter sleeve. Obviously hitches may vary in tolerances among different manufacturers and this sleeve will not fit exactly the way they want it to with every single application. I'm using this on my Ford Super Duty. With the holes lined up it sticks out about an inch past the end of the receiver tube, and there is a very small amount of wiggling, but I ain't mad about it. And I appreciate the two ears that prevent it from sliding too far into the tube. Another quality product from CURT Manufacturing.

Bought this to use as an inner sleeve for 2" attachments (such as a SpitzLift crane) with a 2.5" Gen-Y hitch. It fits perfectly, and allows for 2" items to be secured in the Gen-Y hitch.

The adapter sleeve does what it’s designed to do. I’ll use it for sure, but due to the amount of actual clearance, I’ll likely pay more attention to how it will get used; there is roughly 0.04” clearance on each dimension. While this seems to be of little concern, the clearance is much than a regular 2” receiver into a 2” hitch

Works perfectly as described

I needed an adapter for my Yakima bike rack. My F250 has a 2.5” hitch and the bike rack is 2”. So this adapter worked perfectly! There is a little slop but when I tightened it down it works like a charm. Exactly what I needed. Thanks CURT!

Fits as per dimensions, not an ishue pins same as Ford Super duty 6.7L 2023 , 2.5"

Great quality, have used this all year for pulling out RV with my f350 (2.5” receiver to our 2” weigh safe hitch we had for our previous truck). Have drove 12 hours 1 way, no cracking/wear or issues. For price you can’t beat it, do not buy a Chinese knock off for hauling. Purchase peace of mind especially for this price.

Fits a little loose and holes are drilled a little large. Works tho
