By far, this is the best solar cover we've ever used. There is an immediate feeling of quality to the material. Over the past 20 years, we've purchased multiple solar covers. Compared to the many other solar covers that we've owned, this material feels very thick and strong--it should last at least twice as long as the other covers. This cover also provides excellent heat absorption and thermal insulation. Our pool warms quicker and stays warm longer than with any other covers. Due to the quality of the material, this cover also deploys easily and is easier to reel back onto its storage reel. This is, by far, the best cover that we've ever owned, and we can highly recommend this cover to anyone who wants a long-lasting cover that has excellent thermal properties.

When you get it you’ll probably have to cut it to fit your pool. I suggest cutting it to fit exactly. I also suggest getting the pool cover roller to quickly roll it up when not using it. Let me just say, it will warm your pool up. We haven’t had to use our pool heater once this season because this will literally turn your pool into a spa. Yes my pool reach 100 degrees I had to take it off and let it cool down. Very nice material, very easy to put on and take off. Helps retain water. Light weight yet strong.

We’ve ordered many, many solar covers over the 40 years we’ve lived with a pool. They typically last only 2-4 years. I was truly surprised to see it delivered in a box rather than rolled up inside plastic. It was folded and not insanely tight. When we unpacked it, I got another pleasant surprise - it only had one seam down the middle! All our previous covers had at least 3, making 4 sections fused together. We ordered the 20 x 40 size, so it’s not small by any means. Seams are a likely place for a cover to start to ripping. The thickness also looked great and it truly felt sturdy. I’m hoping the bubbles last longer than usual too. We cut the solar cover to fit on top of the water and it was pretty easy to do. We have a diving board on one end and steps on the other so hooking the cover up to the roller was a little tricky. We’ve got the cover so it rolls up fairly easy and I always make sure that it rolls up smoothly and doesn’t have any wrinkles when rolling it up. I’m trying to find a place to store it inside over the winter, but it’s really large! This is the best solar cover we’ve probably ever had - time will tell, hoping for more that 2-3 years! Great so far!!

I end up replacing my solar covers every few years. I have purchased through various sellers/brands. This VEVOR 16 mil blue & black solar cover is much stronger than the others I have had at the same color combo & higher mil. The others resembled bubble wrap more closely, and in this one the "bubbles" seem flatter, which some how makes the cover seem thicker and sturdier, and we get less of the "bubbles" falling/shedding into the pool water, over time. Our pool has full sun the majority of the day, so the solar cover heats it and maintains the heat in the New England Summer very well! Most days it reads 89 degrees! I would have given this 5 stars, however, it did already get a small tare from pulling it from the reel after just a couple months, as they honestly ALL seem to do.

Wow! We could not believe how much this pool cover helped our pool. First of all, right out of the box we could tell it was made of a good quality, thick material. It is super helpful that one person can cover and uncover the pool, if you leave the pump on to help move the cover around. The size is a perfect fit for our pool and we only cut a couple slits for the cover to fit around the pool ladder legs. Not only does the cover warm our pool up, it helps retain that heat during cooler nights. Added Bonus is that the cover kept a ton of oak pollen and tree blooms out of the pool this spring.

I never review anything but as we approach the end of the summer I feel like I must. I buy a new solar cover every year. From the moment we unboxed this one, we noticed that it seemed heftier and higher quality than any of the ones we've purchased (I think this is our sixth). Over the course of the summer that has proven correct. Its heft has rewarded us with an extra 5 or so degrees of heat all season. Our pool has never been so warm and i think it will buy us a couple weeks at the end of the year. I will definitely purchase again.

I bought other solar covers and they helped some but this one is great! This one is thicker than most of the others I tried and it seems more durable, holds heat better, and my pool is staying cleaner. I trimmed the edges to fit just inside my pool and it is working perfectly. Hopefully it lasts a few seasons.

Works great, but it's heavy and my Intex reel doesn't like the extra weight. Honestly, I'd rather get a different reel than downsize. The extra weight is perfect for living in a windy area. The lighter ones blow all over the place. This one's going nowhere. It seems very sturdy and I hope it'll last. I'm on my first summer and will update of it turns out to be junk.
