Not suitable for Plus size people
Just got this chair today, assembly is very easy and the parts are very robust, most of this chair feels high quality except the plastic paddle on the lever that adjusts the height and locks & unlocks the reclining function and the headrest attaches to the back of the chair. That part is a bit cheap feeling but as long as you don't have someone jokingly pull the chair back by the headrest it shouldn't be a problem, but if some joker wants to pull on it to scare you, it could break eventually. As to the long term comfort, right now I can not attest to that yet. But what I can tell you is that this chair is not meant for very wide people with a very large rear-ends. The chair is narrow, I am a small guy 5'5" 150lbs and this chair is just the right size for me. THE HEADREST at its lowest setting and tilted all the way back is just the right place for it to rest just under the back of my skull and just above me shoulders just they way those U shaped travel neck pillows rest around you neck to give the back of your neck support when you are traveling. So if you are shorter, it wont rest there most likely. That's where I like it to be but you may differ, but what I can tell you is that if you don't rest it there it will force your head forward because it doesn't move back any farther, which I don't like. THE LUMBAR SUPPORT is okay, this chair allows you the screw it in as far as you like and for me its in the right place, but as far as it goes I've never had a chair with this so it takes some getting used to, but you an just unscrew it so you cant feel it, but I want to be in a proper ergo so I will just get used to it. THE ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT is good for me as a short guy many office chairs don't adjust low enough, and even though I can put my feet flat on the ground for most of them, the weight of the backs of my legs are entirely being held by the chairs seat instead of letting me reduce pressure on the back of my legs with my feet allowing my knees to be at an 80 degree angle instead of a hard 90 degree angle putting unneeded pressure on my hamstrings. I am using it while writing this review and it is currently at the lowest setting and it is perfect for me, so if you are shorter then me take that into account. As well be careful with the lever that adjusts the height because it is one of the only things that I can see breaking if you are not mindful. THE BACK REST is very comfortable because for me at least it has a high back and is just broad enough in the shoulders and for a small guy I have broad shoulders. I have a different mesh chair with a short back and the metal frame that holds the mesh on that chair constantly digs into my back and I cant bare sitting in it for very long but it was free so beggars cant be choosers. There is nothing able to do that on this chair for my body size and I appreciate that very much. THE SEAT is fully mesh with a cushion under the knees and seems to be comfortable as of right now, as I said long term comfort is still to be decided. But at first feel, I can say as long as you keep your legs facing forward I don't foresee a problem. But when I decided to buy a fully mesh chair I realized one of my favorite ways to sit will no longer be possible. I like to Spread my legs and have my right leg off the side of the chair instead of the front. With mesh chairs, because of their nature, they are elevated on the sides similar to a bucket seat chair, but there are no cushions so it will surely cut off circulation so this is a no go. This is something I knew going into this purchase and decided it was worth a try and I can just get used to it. Another position I like is to sit in my chair cross legged. This is still possible but not the most comfortable because the bucket shape isn't as comfortable for my feet. The comfort of the seat is probably the most important part of this chair for me. I will be sitting in it every day for very long periods of time and I need something that wont fatigue my butt, tailbone and the back of my legs, if this mesh seat creates pressure points and I begin to get sore, I will try and update this review, and I will probably return the chair and look for a regular cushion chair or buy the regular cushion style of this chair because they make one with a plush cushion as well. Hope this cleared something up for some of you.

Good chair, fair price
Comfortable, quiet, sturdy. Great chair. The mesh is high quality and supportive. Breathable too. I added after market roller wheels for smoother rolling, but might not actually have needed them. the wheels that come included are great quality.

Good entry level chair
I did my time looking through stats and reviews and settled on the Sihoo M57, and so far, it has been really good. With some caveats. Take this all with a grain of salt, your mileage may vary. It was easy to put together, even without a helper. I like the lumbar support and the headrest, it does help me sit properly, which I did not feel that I had in the Steelcase Amia. The seat is skinnier than the Amia. So, if you like a wider seat, keep that in mind. I am 5'6" and I do notice that my feet can float even at the low setting, so I have a footrest if I am not using the caster legs to rest on. It is documented that we should be getting out of our chairs and moving around every hour or so. If I were to follow that guideline better, I would be better off, but since I do not, I have noticed that I can last a few hours on this seat without discomfort, but if I get up fairly regularly, I can avoid any posterior pain. Note well, the arms are for resting, not for lifting or pushing yourself up. They will go down with sufficient pressure. The manual headrest is ... challenging to maneuver into place up and down. It rolls forward and back just fine. The lumbar elevation is similar, up and down is difficult but the twist knob in and out is just fine. The recline is great, though I am mainly sitting up straight most of the day. Locking it in place is good. Elevating the chair also works as expected. All in all, about a month in, I am happy with my purchase. I feel the price was right and the number of features and comfort fit this level. I hope this helps if you are looking for your next office chair.

Better than expected
I heard about these types of chairs from a friend but was sceptical about them given the design looks cheap on most of these chairs. You would think the fabric wouldn't hold much weight, the lumbar support might be useless, and with all this plastic theres no way this chair is sturdy. If you thought any of that yourself take a moment to read all of this review. (Before I begin I chose this brand because it had some of the best reviews, build quality and price I could find online, and I research all my options for weeks, this was the best deal I could find.) I will just start my review with the day I recieved this chair because there was no issues with shipping and all went well there. So I received the chair in a box that looked like it was attacked by an angry rhino, it was beat up and had small holes to even giant holes, my first thought was well the chair is ruined. Luckly this company thought ahead and prepared this chair to be shipped from even the worst of lazy shippers because the chair was spotless and in perfect condition. They had this chair wrapped up in some of the nicest bubble wrap, plastic, and foam you can find, so this chair was completely protected. I slowly removed all the chair parts, tools, and to my surprise a nice pair of gloves to use if I wanted to. I followed the instructions and with little effort was able to build the chair in 15 minutes, very good instructions. I inspected the chair while putting it together and found that everything was well made and polished properly, no tiny dents, scratches or other imperfections. To say the least I was very satisfied with the effort they put to protect the chair during shipment. After all was together I tried it out and was almost immediately in love. This chair despite being made of mostly thin mesh and plastic was very sturdy and comfortable, and I weigh almost 300 pounds. I have been using this chair mainly while gaming for hours and love it. I never get hot or sore from this chair and the lumbar support and headrest keep my back completely straight removing the worry of hurting my back anymore. The lumbar support is adjustable up and down and back and foward but you have to to pull it hard up and push it hard back down but this is just to keeps it sturdy. I have had this chair for almost 2 months now and have no complaints. There is no creeking or strange noises at all and I never feel like the chair going to give way and fall apart. I highly recommend this chair to anyone who spends a lot of time in chair for work, gaming or any other activity that are better done sitting in a comfortable chair. As of right now I have zero complaints and if any come up I will update this review. If you read this review and are still worried, take your time and think of your unique situation and do what is best for you, but my recommendation is go ahead and pick this chair up if your looking for a chair like this and experience the comfort of this chair and the piece of mind that you know this chair will help prevent or, in my case, help improve back problems. I can honestly say this chair helped me keep my back from getting worse and I have less back pains now that I use this chair, it's no cure but it helps.

Very comfortable and great lumbar support
I was looking for an all mesh office chair with good ergonomics and found this chair for a good price. This chair costs 2/3 of other chair with similar features. I’m glad I bought this one. The product came in a very big heavy box. Inside the box are all the parts needed and instructions for assembly. While unboxing, I was amazed how heavy the parts are, you can easily tell that this chair is premium and heavy duty. The polymer plastic frame is very solid and heavy. Assembly was easy, it took me less than 15 minutes to fully assemble the chair. There are a lot of things I love about this chair. The mesh fabric is thick enough for durability, with enough breathing holes to keep you comfortable, but yet not rough to the skin. The adjustable lumbar support is great to perfectly get the most comfortable seating position. I am not a fan of the headrest, but it is nice to have if I just want to lay back and relax. I like my arm rest a little high, and the adjustable arm rest can go high enough to my preference. The spring tension when reclining backward is strong enough to slow you down so that you won’t accidentally fall backwards. I am really happy with the price of this office chair, I have an $800 office chair that I use in the office, and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference based on comfort and ergonomics. At $220, this chair is a good deal. If I have only one gripe, I wish the wheels are caster wheels so that it can easily glide on carpets, but those will cost a little extra and can be bought separately. Other than that, everything else is perfect. Overall, I won’t hesitate to buy another one if needed. This office chair is so comfortable and ergonomic it feels like a thousand-dollar chair. Highly recommendable.

Incredible chair and customer support!
Most comfortable office chair I have ever used. After nearly 4 years of use the seat cracked but after reaching out to the company they offered to replace the seat for free! Would definitely purchase again if needed and recommend to others.

Great Option for a Budget Chair - Love the Adjustability
I've had this chair for a couple weeks now and am pretty happy with it. I was using a hand-me-down gaming chair that was super cheap, falling apart and starting to hurt my back. Instead of getting another gaming chair, which I feel like are mostly for looks and don't really provide any support, I wanted an ergonomic one, but didn't have several hundred dollars to a grand to throw at a really nice brand name chair. This is the only chair I found that fit both my budget and my criteria: all mesh, adjustable lumbar, included adjustable headrest, tilt tension control, and adjustable armrests. For reference, I'm 5'4, 120 lbs, and this chair fits me really comfortably. I like the lumbar on the most shallow setting--it's just enough support without being obtrusive, and I'm really glad you can adjust the height. I love being able to adjust the seat tilt and tension as well, since I'm super active in my chair and like to rock back and forth at my desk and lean back for breaks. I sit at my desk all day for work, and after work I stay there and game, so I needed a chair that would recline and be good for lounging too (also why the headrest was so important). There is hard plastic on the edges of the seat and backrest, but it doesn't really bother me. I like to be an "ergonomic rebel" and sit cross-legged a lot, and I don't find that the edges of the seat hurt my legs. Although I'm on the shorter side, so your mileage may vary if you're taller and like to sit with your legs curled up. The mesh feels firm and has enough give to be comfortable while providing support and breathing. Again, I'm on the smaller side so I don't think the mesh sagging will be too much of an issue for me personally. I actually really like the headrest--it fits in the curve of my neck comfortably, and even though you can't move it forward or back, I feel like being able to tilt up and down and change the height makes up for it. You'll definitely want to take time to play around with the adjustability and find the right fit for you. The only other thing I would have liked is the ability to move the arms in and out horizontally (I like to have the arm rests really close to me, but if you need them to be wider it looks like you can move them farther apart when assembling), but I wasn't expecting to find that in a $200 chair, and I'm just glad I can adjust the arm rests forwards backwards, up, down, and rotate them. I use that functionality a lot, so it works great for my needs. The arm rests themselves are made of a pretty hard rubber but have some slight give, so not just rock-hard plastic. If you need the arm rests to be cushy you can probably get covers for them. Assembly was pretty straightforward, but I followed their video as well just to make sure I did it right. Some of the castors required extra force to attach, but felt solid once they were in. Haven't had any issues with squeaking or creaking yet--still feels pretty sturdy (and I sit in it for 10+ hours a day). I did check all the pieces for scuffs, dents, or tears before assembling, but everything was in good condition. I'd read great reviews about SIHOO's customer support beforehand though so I wasn't worried in the case I did need to replace anything. Overall, if you want a chair that has ergonomic features and adjustability, and doesn't break the bank, I'd recommend this one. I did weeks of research before deciding on it and I'm pretty happy with my decision, especially for the price! In the future when I have a thousand dollars to invest in a Herman Miller or Haworth I'll probably upgrade, but I'm more than happy with this chair in the meantime.

Worst chair ever
I must begin by saying that this chair is an absolute disappointment, and if I could, I would give it zero stars. It has proven to be a complete waste of my hard-earned money, and I couldn't be more dissatisfied with this purchase. First and foremost, the noise issue is incredibly frustrating. When leaning back in the chair, there is a loud, irritating noise that accompanies the movement. It's not just annoying; it's embarrassing when you're in a quiet office environment or trying to concentrate on a task. This chair is definitely not suitable for any situation where noise could be a distraction. Comfort is one of the primary factors we consider when purchasing a chair, and unfortunately, this chair falls woefully short in this regard. It's not just a matter of being a little uncomfortable; it's truly unbearable. Sitting in this chair for extended periods is a nightmare. It offers little to no support, and the cushioning, if it can even be called that, is virtually non-existent. It's like sitting on a hard, unforgiving rock, and this has resulted in me experiencing persistent back pain. Speaking of back pain, I've never had such a negative experience with a chair in terms of its impact on my physical well-being. The lack of ergonomic design and support in this chair is astonishing. It feels like it was designed to punish your back rather than support it. After using this chair for a relatively short period, I began to experience significant discomfort and pain in my lower back. It's clear that the chair's design is fundamentally flawed and poses a real risk to the user's health and comfort. In summary, this chair is the worst I've ever encountered. It's loud, uncomfortable, and has led to back pain, making it not only an impractical piece of furniture but also a potential health hazard. I highly recommend avoiding this chair and investing in a more ergonomic and comfortable alternative. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money on this subpar product.
