Great value in a small package
I needed a new laptop for my business, but also with enough horsepower to do some light video/photo editing while being small enough to take with me on trips. This ASUS ZenBook 15 fits the bill perfectly. I thought 500GB was too small for a hard-drive, so I immediately upgraded it to a 1TB Samsung 870 EVO Plus. While swapping, I was surprised to see that the original hard-drive was a quality Samsung M.2 and would have been happy to keep that if it were larger. Although the description on the website refers to 1920x1080 HD resolution, the actual screen resolution is full 4K at 3840x2160, which looks great. When using it for work, it's docked to a monitor and keyboard/mouse, so I really don't use the touchscreen much at all, but the 2.0 functionality looks like it could be useful when I use it in pure laptop mode. After much research, I settled on this laptop because it had the best combination of features I wanted - smallest possible form factor, latest processor, M.2 NVMe hard-drive, decent RAM, a dedicated GPU, HDMI, one USB type C and two USB 3 ports. I wish it had Thunderbolt and RJ45 ethernet ports, but I can work around that. When compiling videos, I do notice that the CPU gets pretty hot, in the 90+ degree range, and occasionally the computer will shut itself off. However, when I power it up again, it resumes working right where it left off, with no loss. After compiling, the CPU cools down immediately. BTW, I recommend Speccy as a good utility to monitor your PC's health. Although I keep the air vent clear and prop the computer up to increase air flow, I could probably avoid over-heating by using a cooling pad.I am very happy with this laptop and hope it will last a long time. It boots up in about 5 seconds and does everything much faster than I was used to with my (admittedly) old laptop.

A versatile 4K powerhouse
Asus really did it this time with this brand new ASUS ZENBOOK 15 4K edition comes with dedicated graphics GTX 1650 Nvidia.15.6 inch UHD + 178 WideView Nano edge display (4096X2160) So picture quality is really good and colors are vibrant. I believe screen NITS brightness is 330 to 350 but honestly description doesn't say and no reviews out yet for this high end model of the Zenbook 15.Performance is outstanding it's a multitasking power house honestly. The 10th gen I7-1051OU handles tasks like it's nothing. I could be watching youtube than at the same time pull up an excel spreadsheet file and power point all on one screen than jump into adobe pro and render a photo or video. It is literally night and day compared to my old Coffee lake MSI. These 10th gens run relatively cool so this laptop under heavy load can get hot like 92 degrees HOT ! However at 3.2 ghtz the CPU backs down on these Comet lakes to a cooler temp around 2.6 to 2.8 ghtz. It really is something you need to see for yourself.Hows gaming? actually very good utilizing the GTX 1650 Nvidia Graphics card for lighter titles you can edasily get away with 38 to 65 FPS on high settings FHD. In Children of Morta I was playing full 4K 60 FPS. Trials of Mana 4K was around 38 to 42 FPS FULL UHD of course you will need to be plugged into ASUS 120 watt power adapter don't expect to see these results on battery lol.Now lets discuss screen pad 2.0 ya know the mouse pad with 5.8 inch touch screen?Ok this is a hit or miss here you either really like it or you don't. For me personally I don't use it I believe after some software tweaks and updates from ASUS the pad may be more useable but as for now No I really dont see the need for it.I watched netflix on it the other day while working on my excel SS for work so that was kind of cool I guess. But besides the calculator I don't really see a definitive use for it. Its basically like a show your friends type technology. The top 5 best PARTS about this new 10th Gen ASUS ZENBOOK 4K edition has to be well#1 The 4K IPS screen.#2 The Comet lake 10th Gen I7-1051OU 4 core 8 thread processor#3 The Nvidia GTX 1650 discreet graphics card.#4 the keyboard very easy to type on I happen to like and use everyday the number pad I for one am glad it's there. The back lighting is just ok to me not very bright and some keys I notice do not light up at all. High brightness on the keyboard is just weird to me. I think ASUS should have taken a different approach to this keyboard lighting entirely but hey it gets the job done.#5 How thin and light the LAPTOP is to carry around really this thing is light like 4.2 pounds for a 15 inch laptop wow that is amazing. So in conclusion do I recommend this laptop?yes absolutely I do however I would save your money and if you want 4K it will cost you round $200 more for the blue and gold edition just get the silver icy lake like I did and instead of $1399 you pay $1199 ha ha your choice but I think the Icy lake silver IMO is the way to go and plus will save you some money.Bottom Line: If you want a fast performing multitasking laptop with some light to medium gaming on the side than this is the laptop for you.On a side note before making this purchase for the Zenbook 15 I did look and research the ASUS G14 laptop with the AMD 4900HS in it and the HEAT?? is what helped me make my decision to buy this one. The thermals were way to high for my comfort. Hope this review helps in your purchase decision for this Ultrabook high performance Laptop.

Good product
Muy buen producto funciono perfecto lo único malo es que se calienta cuando se activa la tarjeta de vídeo pero es de esperarse por lo que es necesario utilizar una base con ventilador.Very good product, it worked perfect, the only bad thing is that it heats up when the video card is activated, but it is to be expected, so it is necessary to use a base with a fan.

Just PERFECT!
Coming from Macbook Pro 13 2015, so expectations bar was pretty high to begin with. This Asus laptop hasn't disappointed!- better screen. 4K, a bit brighter, noticeably more crispy. Good colors even without calibration- great CPU performance for an ultrabook. Takes on everyday tasks with ease.- surprisingly good keyboard. Soft, but precise, and bright enough backlight. Font is a bit washed-out as while letters on silver buttons is not a good choice, but I don't look at the keyboard when typing, so that's a passing score.- Touchpad... is OK. Precise, no loud click sound, but that gimmicky touchscreen is a feature I've turned off right away. Windows gestures work fine, size is good, what's more to ask?- Numeric keypad is a great bonus as I work a lot with numbers. It's really smart they've made keys a bit narrower, so that keeps entire laptop size down.- VERY QUIET!!! Despite being dual fan, even under full load, this thing is quiet and there's no high-pitch noise like on some other ultrabooks.- Speaking of high-pitch noise - no coil whining noticed either. Another good thing.- IT HAS ALL PORTS!!! I can't overstate how important that is to have all the ports right there. No dongles, no weird latches to open USB ports, just normal USB ports where USB-C comes along with, not instead of, rectangular USB ports.- Blazing fast WiFi. I don't have WiFi6 router, but this laptop is faster than my MBP and I've got every bit of performance from my WiFi5 AC router. My channel to IPS is the bottleneck, not the laptop's wifi card.- Discrete graphics. 1650 Max-Q in a laptop THIS thin a light is awesome! Of cause there are faster graphics cards in laptops twice as heavy and thick, and with a power brick as heavy as another laptop. The point here that you don't sacrifice mobility even a bit, while packing decent gaming performance on the go.- Speaking of power adapter - this one has a very good looking, compact and light power brick, smaller than I expected. Very good for travel.- Battery life - better than expected for a 4K screen. Probably because it's non-touch (which is OK for me as I'm switching from a non-touch MBP anyway).Overall, I'm totally happy with this laptop, not a single flaw. Some things could be a bit better, but none of that is a deal breaker. I would buy it again and would recommend to friends, as a fantastic ultrabook, packed with features and for a reasonable price. On a separate note, Amazon Prime delivery was beyond awesome: placed order late Saturday night, got the laptop delivered next day on Sun at 10:35am, and that is despite all the fuss about quarantine. Kudos to Amazon and delivery company!

Very good value for 15inch screen and features
Great laptop, the screen pad is great tool though a little cumbersome sometimes, reckon it’s matter of getting used to. Windows 10’s start icon don’t function frequently and need to use the Windows key instead, otherwise good screen size, colours quite sharp, speakers average

Very good deal (back when it was sold by amazon)
I got this for around $1500 canadian dollars. Very good deal compared to other laptops with a GTX 1650 max-q. The laptop runs for around 4-6 hours because of the 1650 and the 4k screen. Those draw a lot of power so I recommend to lower the settings to 1080p to maximize the power. The laptop on low power setting is potatoes slow so I recommend the power setting to the second lowest setting. Fans can get kind of noisy but nothing bad. It does get hot but the cpu doesn't thermal throttle from my usage. It is nice and thin and light but the screen does seem to have a low pixel response time so I notice a little bit of smearing but 4k looks absolutely crisp. Trackpad is great but the screenpad 2.0 software just sucks, I uninstalled it because it conflicted with my drawing tablet I bought. I highly recommend this laptop, it is around $300 cheaper than the competitors.
