Screen Dull, Heats Up
I've had this laptop for a few months now. So far, it works well. My disappointment with it concerns the screen and the heat from the vent. Screen images and words appear very, very light unlike my other HP laptop. I am hoping that the manufacturers or sellers can tell me how to adjust the screen so that whatever I see on the screen is brighter. This was quite a disappointment for me. Pictures, for example appear so light without any sharpness or brightness but if I view the same pictures on another laptop, they look way better. Also, the vent in located under the laptop and so it gets heated pretty quickly and easily. I did not expect that modern laptops would still be giving off heat like that. This one cannot be rested on the lap for long before heating up. My other HP laptop is definitely not like that; it does not heat up at all. This one came with an easel to rest on so I guess the sellers knew it would heat up. I leave it mounted on the easel on my desk. When transferring my files to the laptop, I didn't realise that it was saving everything to the cloud and not to the laptop itself and so I had to start that process all over again. My preference was to save to my laptop. I've transferred files to new laptops several times in my life, but this experience could have been better.

Not actually a new unopened computer. Know what you are buying!
Not really a new machine. Computer was "upgraded" by being opened and having parts replaced. Did not have full warranty, and likely had no manufacturer warranty due to the replaced parts. Would probably work fine but I can't speak to the quality of the replacement parts. Returned it and just bought an actually new computer. Paid more but was worth the piece of mind that poor parts weren't installed.

Very lightweight and great price
Great laptop for the price. The only downside is that when I have it on my lap, it does start to heat up after a while until the fan kicks on. Its also a touchscreen which is fun. The laptop is very lightweight and not bulky like my previous one so it's alot easier to carry around.
