I’ve done most of the salts… table salt, pink Himalayan salt, Celtic salt, etc etc etc. None of them even hold a candle to this salt. I use it for cooking water, balancing electrolytes in my water bottle, salting edamame, brining meats, and it’s amazing on homemade caramels.I ordered this on a recommendation from my doctor because my sodium is always off and it throws off my other electrolytes. Honestly, I have a huge aversion to salty but the flavor of this is amazing. It’s salty without tasting like a salt lick and it really enhances everything I’ve used it on. When I add it to my water bottle or BCAAS it doesn’t make it salty, just a little twang. It’s really nice. I’ve even sucked on a few and it’s really good.I can’t recommend this product enough. The shipping was great and it arrived well packaged and advertised.

This particular salt was advertised to contain 90+ minerals, however the package I received reads 72+. I previously used the another brand, also from Mexico, touted as being the absolute best, even better than Celtic salt. I tried this one and immediately noticed a difference. This one is much coarser and requires grinding and takes longer to dissolve in water or in cooking. The flavor is a bit stronger, more tart.UPDATED 9 May 2025: Received a message from the company's founder stating that while the product is the same, it is just their packaging that has been updated to reflect the additional minerals. I had already begun using the salt via a salt grinder and find it is just as good as other brands at a much better price point.UPDATE2: 11 May 2025: Though I did not request a return or refund, I was refunded the full purchase price.My initial review was out of concern that there may be some bait and switch type of practices, so common with many vendors of supplements, but I can attest that is not the case.

I love this salt! It is extremely high quality and it tastes amazing! It enhances the flavor of all of my foods. I never realized how awful highly refined salt is until I tried this. There really is a difference. You can put a sprinkle in your water, put a pinch in coffee to enhance the flavor, sprinkle on your savory foods to enhance the flavor there as well. It dissolves easily. A little goes an extremely long way. Will be purchasing again.

Like this salt think I like the Celtic a little more tho

I use this every night to help hydrate myself and my family with a pinch of this in some alkaline water with creatine and magnesium powder before bed to get great rest all night long. Isn't too salty tasting, yes it is salt but it is more minerals than normal table salt by far. I even like this better than celtic salt.

Great tasting salt that's very good quality. Purchased for the health benefits and it has been a nice addition to my salt stash.
