You can modify the pin configuration.
Great little patch cable. I have them permanently connected to my mixing board after I switched the angle of the connectors (which was very easy) to accommodate the configuration of the XLR inputs on my ZOOM LiveTrak L-8 which are on top of each other. Works great!

Work As Described
These work ok. It would be better to have different orientation choices eg. right, left or center exit. These all go the same direction. They do help me with my pedal board to keep a low profile on my cords.

Great for limited space.
