Is it normal for the text to show upside down? I have to flip my text 180 to be able to read it.

Your eye needs to be closer to the loupe. All magnifying lenses will do this as the light is converging to a point and if you are past that point the image is reversed.

The flat magnifier needs three LR44 batteries. The flip-out magnifier needs three LR1130 batteries.

Is 90x strong enough to view the RGB subpixels on a computer monitor?
