The Taylor K2005 is one of the best water testing kits for pool owners who want accurate and detailed water chemistry readings. While it requires a bit more effort than test strips, the precision and reliability make it a must-have for maintaining a balanced and safe swimming pool.

This is an excellent kit. Titration type testing is definitely more accurate than strips, cheaper and I believe more trustworthy than photometer type testing. Taylor does it right and they have been in the business a long time. The "Watergram" water balance calculator (included) is a great little tool for helping decide where to make adjustments toward sustainable balanced water. Also included was a little (waterproof) book "Pool and Spa Water Chemistry". It is an EXCELLENT publication! Full of good, time tested information and well worth taking the time to read. We have a new spa and our well water is a little bit of a bother to get balanced but I needed to get it right, We have a lot of money invested so I want to take care of our spa and above all we want sanitary water. Titration testing (drops) is no big deal - that is if you can count :). It literally takes minutes and I have the most confidence I can get at home with this type of testing and a quality product. I have noticed that most quality spa/pool supply stores also have Taylor reagents on the shelf which speaks for itself. I did make and addition to my kit by cutting a good quality plastic drinking straw in half and I stir vs. swirl when adding drops. Speeds up the process and gives a good and thorough mixing. I rinse every component well after testing. The kit is quality - slots for all components - and a great storage box. A good investment for your pool or spa.

This is a very nice testing kit with everything as described plus you get a pool and spa water chemistry booklet that gives you good information on testing and treating your water.My only complaint is that all bottles included in my kit are good into 2025 except R-0002 for DPD which expires 05/11/24. We're almost done with our pool season for the year, so this is not at all helpful. Can you please replace the R-0002 bottle with one good into 2025?

I just got a pool and hot tub this year so I was brand new to chemical balancing. I started off with several different types of test strip kits, but they gave me readings across the board. I never truly knew what my chemical balance was and it drove me crazy. I finally purchased this product and it was a complete game changer. The liquid test kit is infinitely easier to read and determine precise chemical levels. It can seem a little overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it and no longer need the instructions, you can test and balance your water very quickly....and with extreme precision. One of the best parts of this kit is the book it comes with that teaches you more than you ever want to know about water chemistry and chemical requirements for every scenario and/or maintenance.I have had my pool/hot tub water perfectly balanced since the day I started using this kit and never once thought about taking my water to the pool/spa store to "make sure" my readings were correct. I will never be going back to strips. Worth every penny.
