CHOCKALOTTA Eartip Adapter Compatible with Plantronics Voyager 5200, Poly Voyager Legend 50/30 Series & Voyager Legend Classic Headsets (1-Pack)

It has been a while since I had the pleasure of trying out the In-Ear Tip Adapter Mount for Plantronics Poly Voyager headsets, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, these adapter mounts fit like a dream. With their snug and secure fit, they provided the perfect foundation for the silicone ear tips, ensuring maximum comfort and stability during extended wear. I appreciated the inclusion of multiple sizes (S/M/L), as it allowed me to find the perfect fit for my ears. But what truly stood out to me was the sound quality. The crystal-clear audio delivered by my Plantronics Poly Voyager headset was further enhanced by these adapter mounts, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my calls and audio playback. Whether I was in a noisy office environment or a crowded café, the sound isolation provided by these mounts ensured that I could focus on what mattered most – the conversation at hand. I also want to highlight the comfort factor. As someone who has struggled with ear irritation from ill-fitting earpieces in the past, I was delighted to find that these adapter mounts caused no discomfort whatsoever. I could wear them for hours on end without experiencing any irritation or fatigue, a testament to their thoughtful design and high-quality construction. Unfortunately, my time with these adapter mounts was cut short when I misplaced my Plantronics Poly Voyager headset somewhere in my office or home. I miss that headset dearly, not just for its exceptional sound quality, but also for the comfort and convenience provided by these adapter mounts. Bottom line, the In-Ear Tip Adapter Mount for Plantronics Poly Voyager headsets exceeded my expectations in every way. From their perfect fit and comfortable wear to their ability to enhance sound quality, they are truly a game-changer for anyone seeking a superior audio experience. While I may have lost my headset, I will always cherish the time I spent with these adapter mounts, and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a premium listening solution.

Actually, better than the ear tip adapter that came with my Plantronics Voyager 5200. Fits snug and doesn't move around - also seems more durable than the original.

22DEC22 I changed my rating from ** to ****. They're worth it! Although more comfortable these things are only marginally better. With the largest size adapter the fit is not as snug as expected. They're just a little better, not much, than the original ear tip. The sound level appears slightly higher and external noises slightly lower. 3 years ago in 2019 I wrote: "For what you get they're overpriced. When I lose this ear tip I probably won't buy another one at this price." Well, I've changed my mind because they're MUCH MORE durable than expected AND Chockalotta's Customer Service was fantastic. About a year, or so, ago the micro o-ring broke. I immediately received a replacement and spares too, at no charge. If the longevity of this product continues, I'll up the rating to *****. This is quality stuff.

Very comfortable fit in your ear. I work in a loud environment and it allows for a tight fit.

This tiny adapter changes the fit and comfort of the new Poly Voyager Legend 50 (very similar, if not identical, to the Voyager 5200). The tips it comes with are pretty standard/generic, and I can confirm it will take Spinfit CP100 tips without issues. I imagine any other tips will also work. The only issue I have is the adapter has trouble fitting in the charging case with the cover closed. It will still contact the pins in the case to allow for charging, but the lid is noticeably open. Since the case is specifically formed to the headset, I have concerns about forcing it shut or putting it in a bag that would squish it closed. But the comfort of having real ear tips is worth the hassle of removing them if I need to store the headset in the case—a non-issue for me. You are really paying for a single tiny white adapter (for $15!!!), which is expensive. They should sell them in a 3-pack for $15 or drop the price to $7. Unfortunately, Chockalotta is the only company that I could find that is selling them. Again, the comfort this provides is worth the price for me but doesn't warrant docking a star.

This Chokalotta Tip Adapter is great—except that you can't replace the gels! That crappy little cheap trick cost them two stars. It comes with three gel-tips: small, medium, and large. Of course only one size fits you, so the other two are useless. I use small. As expected, it eventually wore out. Imagine my surprise when I discovered they don't sell the gel-tips alone! You have to purchase an entire new kit. When I wrote the company, they assured me the tips will last as long as the mounting core. Uh...hello...I'm sitting here holding a worn out tip in my hand! They refused to work with me, hoping I'd just do the "American Thing" and buy a whole new kit. I did not—because I discovered a hack! Search Sunmns Silicone Eartips. They come 6 pair to a pack (that's TWELVE Bluetooth tips, remember) for just over six bucks. You want the ones with the red core. Same black silicone. They work perfectly on the Chockalotta adapter, and in fact worked better for me than the original tips! If Chockalotta would do the right thing and offer gel-tip replacements, instead of suckering you into buying a whole new kit, they'd corner the market. They'd at least get 5 stars from me, for whatever that's worth. But this "gotcha" tactic is pure B.S.

The ear tips are great and make the sound better when using the headset, but once inserted you can't close the charging case which is pretty annoying as it'll cause the case door to catch and damage

Poor quality

Excellent product, obvious improvement in clarity and volume due to this ear tip and extension moves the earpiece into the ear canal area far better than the original tip. Provides a better fit and far better sound quality. Also a plus was the speedy delivery. Only took a week to arrive, far quicker than the expected delivery date at time of order, and no extra import/vat charges, just paid what was stated on the item page and received it a week or so later. All round, excellent product and first class service.

Felt nice to be able to tug in the bud again. But then it is no longer flush placing back into the charge case, not the end of the world. Hence i still use it.

Suelo comprar solo usando Prime para evitar lo más posible problemas con el envío. Esta vez tuve que tomar el riesgo y adquirí este producto porque aunque me encanta la funcionalidad, calidad de sonido, cancelación de ruido y demás características de mi Plantronics voyager 5200; las gomitas que trae me resultan extremadamente molestas, simplemente no encajan de forma cómoda en mis oídos y dependiendo del tamaño son o bien más molestos o hacen que se me safe el aparato corriendo el riesgo de caerse y tener consecuencias. Para mi grata sorpresa, el producto me llegó casi una semana antes de lo esperado, tardo solo un par de días hábiles! De inmediato reemplacé la gomita de mi auricular, lo cual me resultó muy fácil e intuitivo, he estado usando el adaptador con las gomitas que trae y vaya que fue una gran, gran diferencia!!! Ahora el ajuste es perfecto! Dejo de molestarme incluso el ancho del aparato que va detrás de la oreja, es increíble lo que cambia un simple diseño de goma! La pequeña pieza que es el adaptador es lo que más vale la pena porque una vez teniendo el adaptador, se pueden usar las gomitas que mejor nos acomoden y que de otra forma es imposible para este auricular por el diseño tan especifico que tiene. El producto me parece bastante caro considerando lo que es; sin embargo se ve de buena calidad, embona perfecto al menos en el plantronics voyager 5200 y ha hecho una gran diferencia para mi en cuanto a funcionalidad y comodidad.
