Pretty good gaming mouse
Got it for the color. Otherwise this is a pretty standard lightweight famine mouse. Don't take competitively, so I can't speak to it's performance from that perspective, but this mouse works pretty well. It is on the smaller side and the hump is not as high as the mouse i currently use, but tmworks fine for my daughter. Being able to connect chat 2.4ghz and Bluetooth let's her use it on both her computer and tablet. As another receiver mentioned, the cable is on the stuff side for a braided cable. It comes with grip tape which is a nice touch, buts it's black and not going to ruin the color of the mouse by putting it on. I do use the trip tape on other mice, so it'll come in handy.Also.great that the receiver can be stored inside the mouse so it doesn't get lost if not in use. Can't speak to the software since I'm weary of downloading this type of software. But the mouse works fine for my daughter's needs without it.

Good Hardware, Question Software
The A5 Ultra is very light. Might be a little too light because it feels like I have nothing in my hand. The mouse itself is very slippery and it is hard to hold. I think the manufacturers knew because they provided grip tape. I haven’t applied the grip tape just yet but I know I will need it. The mouse is definitely made to be used wirelessly. The cable it comes with is very stiff and would not be good to used wired. There is so much drag caused by the cable it feels like I am trying to use the mouse in mud. The mouse is charged by USB-C so I will just use one of my many USB-C chargers when the time comes for a recharge. The mouse is also a little on the small side so if you have larger hands you might find this mouse too small. Software support is very lacking. The Mchose website is questionable at best. When trying to download the software you are redirected away from Mchose’s website where nothing is in English and it is just a single link to download an EXE file. I work in cyber security and I can’t bring myself to download anything from their website as it looks like hack job. Because of that, I have no way of controlling the polling rate and while I can switch the DPI via a switch on the underside of the mouse, I don’t like the default settings. The mouse jumps from 800 DPI to 1600 at the next step. I would have preferred 1000-1200 DPI as I feel 800 is too slow and 1600 is too fast. Right now I am set to 800 because I lose control of the mount pointer at 1600. My PC uses dual monitors and the pointer reaches both ends of the monitors with a flick of the wrist. The problem with 800 is when I do need to get to the far ends of the monitor I have to lift up the mouse many, many times because I run out of mouse pad.Charging seems quick but I don’t know how much charge it had when I opened the box. Took about 20 minutes for the charging light to turn off so I assume that means it is fully charged. I am now using it wirelessly and it feels good. Way better than when I had the cable connected.Mouse click is satisfying and light. However, if you are use to optical switches like myself you can tell it takes slightly more force to click. Not a deal breaker but something you might notice depending on what king of mice you have used before. I like the scroll wheel. I actually like it better than my Razer Viper. The side buttons feel solid and easy to access. For the price, this is a great mouse. Very usable out of the box but if you want to customize any settings you will need to download their software. But this is where Mchose fails. Their website just doesn’t give you the ‘trust’ you need to download the software. So for me, this will be my backup mouse when my main mouse dies and I am waiting on a replacement. If their website didn’t look so shady, I would download the software and configure the A5 Ultra to my personal needs and I could see it being my daily driver. But not right now.
