Nutritionally valuable vegan cheese!
Taste Fresh, light, tangy, this is my preferred vegan cheese. It's lovely crumbled in to a salad, or on fresh crusty bread or a cracker with a piece of pickled chilli, a dab of chilli jam or chutney, or a pickled onion or walnut. Cicioni is not heavy or overpowering at all, just light and wholesome. I will say, that I'm not a great fan of other vegan cheeses, most seem really high in saturated fat (which i have to be mindful of) and seem to have little nutritional value, but this cheese is just nuts, water, salt, and vegan lactic ferments. I make my own cashew and almond cheese when i can, and this manufactured version has the same clean ingredients that i would use, nothing more. The nutritional breakdown Energy is 426 cals per 100g, Fat is 36 percent, breakdown of which is :- Sat fat is 5.1 percent, Mono unsat fat 22.5 percent, Poly unsat fat 8.3 percent; Carbs 6.2 percent of which 0.8 percent is sugars, Fibre 5 percent, Protein 16.7 percent, Salt is 1.47, (ideally for me :-) it would be nice it if was lower, and thats my only negative comment). Minerals per 100g - Magnesium 128mg, Phosphorous 283mg,Copper 0.81mg, Manganese 0.87g, Vitamin E 6.23mg Price Would also like to add, this is currently at a very competetice price on amazon fresh, so I am a very happy customer.

Nothing like cheese
I'm new to the vegan thing so wanted to try this one out because cheese would be the most difficult food to take out of my diet. Well this one doesn't make you want to stop eating cheese, let me tell you. It's nothing like it - if it was labelled as a 'vegan spread' or whatever, then fine, you'd have different expectations. But this one doesn't have the texture, the smell, or even the taste of cheese so what's the point of calling it that? Tasteless and sour at the same time.

Really enjoyed this vegan cheese
Really enjoyed this vegan cheese. Trying to remember back to when I ate dairy it is something close to Cheshire cheese in terms of the sharpness but it is softer in texture - bit like a cream cheese. The packaging does not keep it fresh once opened (hence 4 stars) - advise to put it into an airtight container once opened.

delicious and healthy
Tastes delicious and does not contain all the junk other vegan cheeses contain like msg, flavourings and bad oils! I'm so happy I found a vegan cheese that tastes so creamy and lovely!

Vile
Vile is a word I rarely use but no word describes this vegan cheese better. Tastes nothing like cheese, tastes synthetic despite apparently only being made up of nuts and water. Also the packaging is incredibly wasteful and so this is not eco-conscious.

Really good but expensive
I love this cheese. It’s the ONLY vegan cheese I like! It’s a bit sour like cream cheese but has more texture to it - like Feta. I put it into my Greek salad. Sooo much better than tofu or other fake cheeses! The only thing is - it’s really expensive.

Mama Mia perfecto!
What a find! I have tried other 'vegan' cheese and nothing compares to this..... really lovely flavour, great with biscuits, in a salad, on pasta etc etc

Stick to violife
It tastes exactly like cottage cheese, but with an overpowering taste of vinegar on top. Far far too sour tasting. Even crumbled in pasta it overpowers the other flavours. Stick to violife.
