Works fantastic with my iPhone 16 in a Ford with sync 3 entertainment system. Connection time is very fast and no stability issues. No issues with lag using the touchscreen. No noticeable difference in battery life vs Bluetooth connection.I did have to get an upgraded USB module for my car for the wireless CarPlay to work, but that’s a known issue with the year of my vehicle and nothing to do with this product.

This paired right away with my iPhone 14. It has a cap on one side that comes off to reveal that it has both usb and usbc connectivity. It didn’t have instructions but all you need to do is plug it in, then go into your Bluetooth settings on your phone, pair it with the device and it starts working. I just hope it continues to work like it is now.

Love this for my 22 RAV4. Takes a few seconds to connect but works great once connected.

Implied plug and play. Nowhere near that. I’ve already spent several hours trying to get it to work to no avail. I will be returning it for a refund.

First of all, let me just say I do not understand the complaints about lack of instructions when the instructions...very clear instructions...are right here on the Amazon page it's ordered from!!! It might have been nice if they included printed instructions with the device for the clueless, but they didn't. Anyway...This little stick really does work like magic. Set up is easy...don't overthink it. Just start your car, plug it in and follow the prompts on your phone and car screen. Easy peasy. The slot for wired airplay in my car is USB C and I have to wonder if maybe that makes a difference. The device has USB A on one end and USB C on the other but USB C is said to be faster. It works perfectly in my 2021 MB GLC300. It's actually better than having a built in pad in the car because you don't need to take your phone out of your pocket to use AirPlay..I can't speak to the longevity of the device but it is covered by warranty for one year. My only real complaint is the packaging. It comes encased in clear plastic, glued into cardboard, so can't be removed without destroying the packaging. Makes it difficult to return without a hassle if you change your mind. Thankfully my mind isn't changed. I just hope it lasts for awhile!

Let me begin with the positive aspects. This product is truly exceptional. It’s actually more responsive than the Alpine and Sony models I’ve tried that are built into the units. It’s compact and well-designed, with everything about its functionality being great. However, I encountered an issue after updating the software. Since the update, the device kept disconnecting. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Support, I received no response. Eventually, I had to return the product and exchange it. Fortunately, as long as I keep the older software version installed, the device seems to be working perfectly now.

Upgraded from the Carkinkit 5.0. This model connects much faster with less glitches. There is also an OTA firmware upgrade which worked fast. Make sure you do the firmware upgrade to take advantage of additional settings. I also bought a 6 inch adapter cable so this device doesn’t stick out of the HDMI port and risk getting bumped off the port. Working with a Volvo XC40. I bought the Clavoop Short USB Extension Cable 6 inch, USB Extender Braided USB A Male to Female USB 3.0 Extension Cable Compatible with USB Flash Drive, Printer, Camera, Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, Phone.////UPDATE: I had to return it because it keeps dropping phone calls in my Volvo XC40. I really liked how fast it connected but not being able to make phone calls is a deal breaker.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2019 - I got this about a week ago and it will not work when I first turn my car on in the morning. If I leave work for lunch, it will usually work, or in the evenings driving home from work. I'd say it only turns on about 60% of the time for me right now. I'm not sure what to do to fix it since there's no user manual provided. I'm going to keep trying it out for another week but it's looking like I might need to return this and try the larger model.
