good size provides lots of options
I had ordered two versions of these, but both from DINESK. Arrived together, in simple but not excessive packaging. This one, for reasons I can't understand or explain...had nice screws. That's just odd to me...why wouldn't they have the same? Anyways...I like this larger size more now that I have both in hand...though the other small one will work nicely with small mirrorless cameras like my M50ii. The only issue with this one really is that it seems that for the length of it...that it should be fairly stable if I need to set my rig on the table while I make other adjustments, and have it be pretty stable. It actually is kinda easy to topple over to the sides...so there's that. But overall I do really like it as it makes mounting a V mount battery at the back end to bring the center of gravity back a bit from a big heavy lens. That's extremely helpful as even my expensive studio tripod tends to dip forward from the weight. This should really help fix most of that issue. The quality is fine...and as long as I am looking more at the plate than included screws...I'd happily get other plates from same seller. Weird about those screws though.
