Rustic Wood Crate

These crates are very sturdy and well-made. Just beautiful! Solid wood, carefully applied stain, construction and assembly both high-quality. We will be using them in our wine-making room, as storage for demi wine bottles (375mL size) that do not fit safely on our traditional wine racks.I was disappointed only in the shipping part of the purchase. A label was created the day we ordered these, but, the carrier was not given the package for 11 days following label creation (why?). Then, the carrier status switched from "Out for Delivery" to "Attempted Delivery: Business Closed" (we are not a business... we are a private residence, and were home all day, receiving, ironically, another delivery from the same carrier that day!). We then had the anxiety-provoking/frustrating experience of being sent a warning message that "delivery was attempted once and failed, we will try one more time..." when we knew, no, they had not actually attempted delivery. It should be noted that originally, we received tracking info from the USPS and then it updated to FedEx, so, perhaps this all was due to the USPS challenges of the moment.In any case - we finally have the crates and are very pleased with the quality and value for the price paid.

Was looking for a crate to hold my Dad's collection of vinyl record albums. This was perfect! Looks great in the room. I put felt tabs on the bottom - as crate is too heavy to left with albums. Also saw another customer added small casters to move around - might do that but not planning on moving around the room too much. Very happy with purchase.

The color is very appealing. I placed them on end and they are sturdy enough to hold heavy ceramic planters with dirt. VERY pleased with the overall appearance and effect! Only suggestion to the seller... please use a more efficient shipping service. Product was shipped 5-8 and did not arrive until 5-27! got a shipping delayed message, but the amount of time was pretty ridiculous considering it was scheduled much sooner. I have to say, though, they were definitely worth the wait! VERY NICE

I bought two of these crates to store my shoes/create a front door storage area, and I couldn’t be happier. These boxes are great quality, nice and smooth with no areas where you can get splinters, and roomy enough for storage. They look way more expensive than they are, and are a great way to get a vintage/homey feel without resorting to dusty old crates.

im really glad i found this record crate that is shorter than the records. many i saw were as tall as the records. we have about 50-60 records in there and are about 2/3rds - 3/4s full. so, room for more.a HUUUGE negative to this crate is that there needs to be handles/holes cut out of the sides so you can more easily pick it up and move it when needed. its very difficult to carry, pick up and put down. but the pics clearly show no handles, so my fault. but i didnt realize how important they were until i got the create and it didnt have any. the spaces between the slats on the longer sides are too narrow to get my fingers in to carry from there.quality is good, the crate is nice and heavy. i saw one review about someone complaining about a chemical smell (i think her name was karen and she probs asked for the manager) — there is an initial smell, but its clearly fresh wood stain. i like the smell, and it proves these are hand made. i did notice some staining inside the shipping box from the fresh stain, so dont put this crate directly on top of something with a soft surface that may get stained. at least until the stain has a chance to dry.

This crate is top notch! Way better than I thought for the outstanding price!!! It literally still smelled like varnish/stain when I pulled it out of the box. Slats are super sturdy and would hold up books, heavy sweaters, jars and more. Beautiful color and grain texture...not second rate wood or cheap scrap material as some of the big box stores crates are. I bought this to put together a gift basket, but now I want more for myself!!!

I needed something in the corner of my bathroom that could hold several items, look unique, be farmhouse style and sorta table-like, this crate serves me well!! It is a beautiful rich color of real wood and very sturdy for which it could do a much greater purpose.

I love these crates. I can't stop ordering them. I place them atop my kid's dressers to hold their storytime books. The creates don't look cheap. The wood is smooth, no splinters! Nice medium tobacco stain (cool brown). Surprisingly, it matches the warm tones of my rooms wonderfully!
