Ever since I started shaving, I've always hated the traditional foaming shaving cream. Eventually I found a clear blue shave gel from a certain mainstream shaving company, which I absolutely loved. When I lost my hair and started shaving my entire head, it became an essential product for me that I would go through a pretty high clip. Alas, one day the company discontinued the product, and it became The Best a Man Couldn't Get. I searched far and wide for a replacement product, and tried many lookalikes, but none had the same magical combination of translucency, viscosity, and lubricity. I was getting ready to give up and learn to tolerate the foam like everyone else. And then I found this product. This stuff isn't just as good as the product I was trying to replace, it's actually BETTER! It goes on clear with just a very slight foam. It has a light, pleasant aroma. My razor glides over it very easily and provides a perfect shave every time. And best of all, it's SUPER concentrated! Unlike other products which I found I had to use copious amounts of, just a small dab of this stuff, combined with a few drops of water, is enough for me to shave my entire bald head. If it starts drying out a little halfway through my shave, I just apply a little water to it and it's just as slippery as it was freshly applied. I'm shocked at how long each tube lasts. In conclusion, this is simply THE best shave gel money can buy. Here's to you, Patrol Grooming. I'll be buying this product till the day I die.

I used this with the Bump Patrol sensitive after shave off and on, while trying other products, and this was the only combination that worked. After not using it for a while, I started back up again, and then decided to test my old regiment to compare. Bad idea. After two shaves with my other products, the bumps on my neck re-appeared. Now I know that it works! A little goes a long way and it’s very soft and smooth!

Not sure where I first discovered Bump Patrol shave gel, but man am I glad I did. For one, a very little goes a L-O-N-G way. Seriously. Squeeze some into your hand about the circumference of maybe a nickel, and that is plenty. It'll lather up your entire face and neck just fine helping to create a bit of an additional barrier between your skin and the blade. I only use a single bladed safety razor and it does every bit as good as those 3, 4 and 5 bladed razors out there (I've even seen one with 6 blades once). Extra blades does NOT translate into a better shave no matter what anyone says. The real benefit of shave gel like this is simple: it helps to prevent bumps associated with using a blade to shave with, and while I don't see any brand doing the job perfectly, Bump Patrol is as good as anything on the market and the fact that it lasts so long while using such a small amount just means you get more for your money overall. Now that I've found another place to buy it (the grocery store in my area stopped carrying it a couple years ago) I know where I'll be grabbing my refills from now on. Great stuff.

Great product. Been around for years. Great for black men who shave. Get the Bump Patrol aftershave. It is top notch.

Good for helping to stop bumps I use it to shave my head and trim around beard at the neck with a straight razor but doesn't make sense you can buy one 4 oz at a price point of 2.73 but if you order 2 or 3 4 oz bottles it cost 9.10 or 15.84. I let you do the math to think about why it's cheaper to order 3 single prime individual orders instead of a prepacked or 2 or 3.

This product is the best shaving gel on the market. I'm glad I can get it at a good value.

This is how a shaving gel should be. almost perfect. it's clear, gets you a very smooth shave, and a small amount is enough for your entire shave. i hope they never reduce the quality.
