Sweese French Butter Dish with Lid - Butter Crock for Counter with Water Line for Spreadable Butter - No More Hard Butter - Turquoise

I've been thinking about getting one of these for most of my adult life, but never actually got around to it. I'm so glad I finally ordered this Sweese Butter Keeper. As I'm sure you know, trying to spread refrigerated butter on freshly baked bread is a nightmare - it's impossible to do without tearing the bread to shreds. Well, by keeping my butter in this little cutie, I can have fresh, creamy soft butter sitting on my countertop all the time. Torn-up bread is a thing of the past. The crock is a well-made, quality product and should last for many years. The glaze is lovely - Sweese calls the color 'Navy', but I'd call it more of a 'Cobalt' - the color is very vibrant. It comes packaged well in a foam lined box, so shipping shouldn't be an issue - and judging from the enclosed paperwork, if there is any problem at all, Sweese is eager to make it right. I think you can order this butter keeper crock with confidence. It's going to look good, it's going to perform as it should, and the company gives every indication that they'll stand behind the product if something isn't right. Five stars from me.

Easy to use, looks nice on our counter. Very functional and holds a full stick of butter keeps it fresh. My daughter liked it so much I got her one for Christmas- she loved it - lol.

For what they are these are pretty awesome. I ordered one just because. Didn't think nothing of it really I just needed someplace to store my butter. When the box arrived I was surprised by the weight of it. For a minute I wondered if it was multiple items. Nope just one. It seems really sturdy and heavy built. Once my SO noticed and had a feel she had me get one for her as well, so we have a couple of those a white and a blue. The lid is pretty heavy, but the handle at the top does provide just about enough material to grip onto and comfortably lift it off. Having it dishwasher safe means cleaning is a breeze. It is a quality butter dish, so if you need one get this (if it's to your liking visually).

The ceramic has a clean, modern look and comes in a bunch of colors (I picked the white one, which fits my kitchen aesthetic perfectly). It’s compact but holds about a stick of butter—just the right amount for everyday use.

The item was badly misshapen and unusable. The bell was out of round and wouldn't seal in most direction and when rotated would lock up and become almost impossible to open.
