You must find the drivers to download. There were no directions supplied so it took a while for me to find a youtuber showing where to find them. You must go to the autel site and go to downloads. Other than that issue the j2534 works good and has enabled me to program a Toyota ecm. I use a laptop with this item.

Alone, it'll only connect OEM software and third party software. Without the proprietary software, which is only available on the tablet, it doesn't perform at it's full potential. The tablet doesn't seem to be available separately either.It's exactly what it claims to be, once the correct firmware and OS is installed. The hardware is superior to the comparable generations of VCI from the common manufacturers used in the industry.
