Flexbook Trackpad-Free Keyboard Case for iPad A16 11th/10th Gen

I purchased the pink Typecase, without a trackpad, to match my pink 11th gen iPad and it’s a perfect fit! I’ve never experienced any sort of issues through these last 10-11 months since purchase and felt I owe a good review. All the special/function buttons work as well! I’ve never had to worry about incorrect key responses from any part of this case/keyboard as I have with other brands. It’s very sturdy, but it’s also easy to adjust while working if I need a better angle. It’s not heavy, but is stable enough to sit safely in all advertised positions. I wouldn’t suggest giving this to a young child since it’s not the most protective case out there, but my iPad & keyboard are still in perfect condition with just me as the adult owner/user. Absolutely perfect case & I feel very lucky to have found this brand before wasting too much money on others!

I love this iPad case!! BE AWARE IT DOESNT HAVE A TRACKPAD. I didn’t realize it when buying this case and it does seem counterintuitive sometimes to use a trackpad when doing tasks but honestly this case functions good with just a keyboard. It is a bit heavy though. Bluetooth connected very well and I didn’t experience any lag either. Setup was super easy as well. I ended up decorating mine case lol. There’s also lots of backlight colors and there’s 3 lightness levels which is super cool. Overall, for the price, the case is definitely worth it. Just doesn’t have a trackpad 😔 Keep in mind, I was a bit iffy on buying this case since almost every review has some sort of lag or connection issue. I didn’t experience this so this may just be a user error. But I love my iPad case now.

The typecase Flexbook Keyboard Case is a great upgrade for the iPad 11th generation! The keyboard makes typing much more comfortable and convenient, especially for emails, documents, and everyday tasks. The case provides a nice level of protection while keeping the iPad functional and easy to use. I also like the flexible design, which makes it easy to adjust the iPad for different activities. A practical accessory that turns the iPad into an even more versatile device!

To be honest, I thought I was ordering a keyboard case that had a trackpad, so when I opened the box, I was disappointed, but I thought that I would put it through the paces as long as I had it and would then likely return it. First off, the 360 degree rotation feature is not really something I wanted and after trying it out, I still feel that way — closing the case results in just a very slight rotation and I find it to be more of an annoyance than a feature, but then again, I don’t really ever use my iPad without the keyboard — your mileage may vary. The keyboard is good enough and I could type on it pretty quickly once I got used to the smaller form factor. Since I have been using a standard Apple wireless Magic Keyboard, I did miss the key that brings up all of the running apps in small windows (Mission Control?). On the positive side, the function key shortcuts (volume control, etc) are dedicated keys and don’t require a Fn key press to activate them. Back light works well for the keyboard. The iPad fit well into the top part (the case), but was mostly open on the top edge and did not offer much protection there, just on the corners. The weight is a little on the heavy side, in my opinion, although probably not a deal breaker. Overall, if you want the 360 degree rotation function and don’t require a trackpad, then give this a look. The price was good and there were no real hiccups in functionality over the 3 days that I used it.

Packed great and works perfectly. It arrived with a full charge and it paired instantly to my new 2025 iPad (A16). Hope I have a lot of future use without any issues. My iPad is blue and the blue with the keyboard/case is a perfect match. The keys have a wonderful travel and easy to use. It is a lot heavier than the iPad, but together they are easy to carry -- and my wrists are weak. The cutouts for the iPad are perfect. BACKSTORY: When I bought my 5th Generation iPad years ago, I bought a keyboard/case for it and it has lasted flawlessly all these years. The brand was by Yekbee. On the front of the typecase box, it says boldly "Formerly known as Yekbee." No wonder I couldn't find a Yekbee keyboard/case anywhere -- but typecase is it. UPDATE: The case is well balanced with the iPad inserted. The viewing angle is very appropriate. My only negative is that the exterior of the case is very slick -- especially with my old 76-year fingers. Wish the exterior was slightly textured with a rough feeling. UPDATE of Aug. 12, 2025: The battery lasts a long time (days and days), even when left turned ON and the screen is in the closed position. Maybe this is why the company changed its name because my Yekbee keyboard/case for my 5th Generation iPad never had a long battery life.

Love it

Excellent keyboard, but dies easily ( I am on my third). Last purchase (Jan 2026) paid extra to ASURION Insurance for protection. Bluetooth died this morning. Contacted ASURION for replacement/repair -No. instead, ASURION told me to “contact TYPECASE…” as “It looks like this issue is still covered by the original” warranty. And no further info/ contact from ASURION …???… nothing on TYPECASE website for returns ( and they don’t know who I am - receipt is Amazon/ASURION only). So ASURION took my money and did squat. GOLDEN RULE. DO NOT GET ASURION INSURANCE! DO NOT GET ASURION INSURANCE! DO NOT GET ASURION INSURANCE! Again - keyboard excellent, but has reliabilty issues. DO NOT GET ASURION INSURANCE!

This is the second typeflex I have purchased. I got a new iPad and therefore needed a new keyboard since the previous one did not fit the new tablet. I love this keyboard since it turns my iPad into a small laptop. The keys are full size, the case is sturdy yet light, and it comes with or without a track pad. And the price is right!

Muy buena, las teclas funcionan bien, y las que son especiales también, me gustó que trajera para poner el Pencil, (las stickers se las añadí yo, no vienen con la funda)
