Initial review of Couplux Espresso Machine
This is an early review, first during unpacking it was missing the cleaning brushes (not a big deal I have plenty of them) for those that don’t might be an issue. It’s actually well built I was surprised how nice it was very visually aesthetic machine will look nice on any counter! Original setup takes a little time and patience to get the grind set but the water qty or portion sizes are factory preset at 60ml for double and 30 for single now you can fudge around with that and make it 65ml and 32ml which is 1oz and 2oz but I left it as is and for me that was perfect… the grind was a little harder and depending on the beans you use it may be different then mine but I’m running about 10 on the grind setting at 15 secs for a double giving me 17grams and since I use a 30lb tamp and a spider distributor it gives me a 21-23 sec double espresso almost every time! It took me maybe 1.5 hours to get it all set. Now the steamer on this unit is a pretty robust so you might be surprised…. I have an MH3Bomber Tank that holds about 2 cups of Milk and I like it about 160F - 165F. I will change the head on it to a four hole as it comes with a single and I don’t party like that about it but puts out a lot of steam and it does the job! This will be a fun addition to my coffee table. I give it 5 stars!

So far it is very good
I have had this espresso machine only a couple of weeks. So far I am happy with it. Its group head is a proffessionally sized 58mm and it has a 20 bar pump. Its built in grinder works well and the machine pulled very good shots right away using the suggested starting settings. If this is your first espresso machine you should know there is a learning curve to using them. If you are already experienced in using espresso machines then it will be much easier adjusting the details of the machine. The reason I gave it four out of five stars is I think the steamer could be stronger. The steam volume makes heating the milk take longer than it should. The tamper supplied is nice and heavy and is very good. The only nitpick with it is that the end you hold has a rounded end and I have a habit of placing the tamper upside down in between pulling shots and it topples over banging on my counter top because I forget out of habit from my other machines tamper. Nitpick but having a tamper that stands on either end is a small convenient detail. The milk frothing pitcher is a bit small and could be larger since it only allows a small portion of milk. I have a larger milk pitcher so I do not use the included one. In conclusion, the machine is very nice and a good buy at its price point. It pulls a very nice shot of coffee and is nicely styled so it looks good on the counter top.

Obsessed!!
I bought this a few months ago now & I'm obsessed! It’s such a great quality. I had a breville before & the shots pulled funny & the milk frother was no where close to the quality that this one has. Not that it’s a bad thing cuz I wanted to get my own shot glasses but it does not come with a shot glass & the frothing pitcher is for maybe a 10 oz cup so I did end up getting another pitcher separately. The portafilter is also great. I’ve been looking for a good quality espresso machine. As a former barista, it wasn’t ann easy search without itching to get a shop standard machine but this one is an all around 10/10. I also got one of my best friend’s one as well because I love mine so much…will also be saving up $400+ from time to time to gift them to as many loved ones that I know enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Returned afer a couple weeks
At first I really liked this machine. Nice appearance, I liked the integrated grinder and the options to customize the grind amount and brew times. But after a couple weeks the grinder started to regularly clog. And, I had spent a bit of time adjusting the grind level to hit the sweet spot of just the right amount of pressure on the gauge. But after a couple weeks, I kept having to adjust the grind level to stay in that sweet spot. What worked one day resulted in too much pressure the next day. Very frustrating. I had to retun it. Look elsewhere for your espresso machine.

All in one
A very nice all-in-one machine, but the heat pressure isn't enough; it doesn't roast completely. At the end, everything comes out soft. The espresso doesn't come out creamy either, just a little. The milk forst is watery. In the end, you end up with a watery semi-espresso.

Great in every way including coffee "temperature"
I returned a different brand because it didn't heat the water high enough for me. This unit you can set the temperature. I set it at the highest and it is great. coffee/espresso is TOO hot to drink, which is want I wanted. Unit functions perfectly in all ways and EASY to use. I love it.
