Subtle and great taste, excellent whiskey
Stunning whiskey, very smooth, complex, well balanced, like a very refined lowland scotch with a hint of highland, and aged barrel. Probably the best value whiskey I’ve tasted in a very long time. Alcohol comes though in aftertaste which is excellent and it’s fine to pour, just lift glass to bottle. Cheers.

Superb gift
A great drink, I bought this for a present but have also tried it. One of the only whiskeys that I enjoy. You can taste how strong it is but goes down very smooth.

Pure velvet whisky. Beautiful.
An amazing whisky. I’d always fancied trying a Japanese whisky but always considered them too expensive. This one appeared on Amazon at the right price and so I gave me a little indulgence. Oh ! How I’ve missed out ! Just pour yourself a tipple, add a few drops of water (literally a few drops), swoosh around the glass and enjoy, appreciate and smile.

My Dad Adored It!
Bought this for my dad's birthday and he just loved it so freaking much, it was delicious he said, and just a whiff of it gave me a very rich impression of it! Now I can't particularly attest to it's Value for money, but it's a pretty bottle and a strong colour, like caramel, it's pretty strong in terms of alcohol content I think, and judging by how quickly my dad polished the whole thing off I can only presume that it's VERY drinkable. I'd definitely buy it again at that price, so yeah, I recommend.

A characterful Japanese whisky
Nikka From the Barrel is an excellent Japanese blended whisky with plenty of character. It has a smooth yet smoky taste, a strong strength that really stands out, and a well-balanced flavour that’s both bold and enjoyable. The whisky feels robust and full-bodied without being harsh, and it’s very satisfying whether enjoyed neat or with a little ice. I also really like the nice, simple bottle, but you can lose a little whiskey when pouring from it. Please note it’s a 50cl bottle. I had assumed it would be larger, which was entirely a mistake on my part rather than an issue with the product itself. Overall, I found it to be a quality whisky with depth and balance. I’m very happy with it and would happily buy it again, just knowing the size next time.

smooth drink great for on the rocks or mixing
smooth tasting whisky, can sneak up on you when drinking as it has a higher alcohol content and its very easy to drink. had on the rocks and mixed and i cannot complain about the smoothness on either.
