Smooth, Rich, and Well-Balanced – A Great Choice for Whisky Lovers!
Johnnie Walker Green Label is a fantastic blended Scotch whisky that offers the depth and complexity of single malts while maintaining the signature smoothness of Johnnie Walker blends. With a 43% ABV and a minimum 15-year maturation, this whisky delivers a refined and well-balanced experience. The flavor profile is rich and layered—you get notes of dried fruits, oak, light smokiness, and a touch of spice, with a smooth and slightly sweet finish. Unlike some blended whiskies, this one maintains a strong malt character, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy single malts but want the complexity of a blend. The gift box presentation makes it a perfect gift for whisky lovers, whether for a special occasion or just to enjoy as a premium treat. It’s great neat, on the rocks, or even in a high-end cocktail. Pros: Aged at least 15 years for a refined taste Smooth yet complex flavor profile with smoky and fruity notes Well-balanced and easy to drink Great for gifting with premium packaging Versatile—enjoy neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails Cons: Slightly higher price, but justified for the quality Not as smoky as other Johnnie Walker variants (for those who prefer a peat-heavy whisky) Overall, Johnnie Walker Green Label is a premium blended Scotch that offers both smoothness and depth. A must-try for whisky enthusiasts and a great gift choice!

Tremendous blend... Look no further, tuck a bottle of this up your night-shirt!
Having tried the majority of the core range of Johnnie Walker (JW) products over the years I have to say that this mid price-range Green Label is absolutely tremendous. The official tasting notes include such phrases as ... "clean aromas of cut grass and fresh fruit mingle with pepper, rich vanilla and sandalwood" having never conceived this mix of flavours previously, I'm unable to comment on the accuracy of this; what I would say, however, is that this JW Green Label, tastes, smells and feels exactly like the whisky you imagine in your hand when you think about walking into a period manor house with roaring open fire on a cool November evening. I have drank many more expensive whiskys and it is fair to say that some have been 'better in the moment', but this is the one that in the event of an empty bottle on the shelf would have to be replenished immediately. Perfect neat or with a cube of large ice, please don't mix this (it's too good). One to enjoy year round and special enough for any occasion, get one now but keep it to yourself because once your friends get a snifter they'll not leave until the mid coloured bottle is running clear.

A Smooth and Balanced Scotch
The blend is smooth and well-balanced, with rich flavors and a hint of smokiness. At 43% vol, it’s bold yet easy to enjoy neat or on the rocks. Perfect for special occasions or a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!

Love this whisky
This is an excellent whisky. The taste profile is true to the Johnnie Walker range but with four 15yo single malts, the quality really comes through. At this price point, this is a top whisky.

Vibrant, fresh, spicy.
Johnnie Walker Green is certainly an interesting whisky, quite the enigma in the JW range I believe. As someone who generally has the full range in the cupboard, unopened Blue aside, I find it sits nicely at its price point and for some would provide a much more interesting dram than the Gold. Johnnie Walker have always done their utmost to keep the range as consistent as possible for as long as possible, with varying degrees of success. It's much harder at the 15/18 year old end of the scale, where the whiskies required to make the blend are scarcer and more difficult to source in large quantities. The Gold has changed wildly over the years, from No Age Statement varieties to the classic 18, with a smoothness and richness of good matured single malts. The Blue has always been its own beast, but the Green has managed to keep its vibrant, youthful exuberance mixed with spicy experience. It's somewhat unremarkable on the nose, but on the palate it comes alive. It's peppery and spicy, quite a feisty little fella, with a long lingering finish. There's definite notes of peach and other pitted fruits, all working in harmony to create a surprisingly coherent flavour profile. It now states proudly on its label which are the four main distilleries malts contained within, just to convince even the hardiest of single malt snobs that blends have their place. Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila (which has long been a favourite across the range as it packs a punch). Blending has always been a part of high-end Scotch Whisky and Johnnie Walker have certainly got it right with the latest bottling of the green. My only gripe is the escalating price which is now more like the Gold price point of a few years ago. Still, if you're choosing between this and the Gold you can't go far wrong picking the Green if spicy, vibrant, exciting flavours are your thing.
