Lovely warming bourbon that is perfect for mixing
A delicious bourbon with a sweet and spicy flavour that isn't too harsh. It has a lovely warming feeling to it due to the spicy flavour, but balances out well with the sweetness to make an easy drinking bourbon that tastes great with ice and goes down a treat as a warming nightcap. I'm not usually one to mix with coke, but I think the flavour profile of this bourbon works really well with the sweetness of the coke and makes for a refreshing long drink that would be ideal for summer. Overall I was very impressed with this bourbon and at the current price of £24 I think it represents good value. I am a fan of the more expensive 95 rye bourbon Bulleit do, but this fares well in comparison. Maybe not quite as nice as the 95 rye when drank neat, but still very nice and is a great choice if you want a cheaper bourbon for mixing.

Top quality bourbon, spicy at the start, smooth at the end
Really top quality bourbon. It's sort of spicy at the start but really smooth a few seconds later towards the end. The opposite of what a bad whiskey is. I even made a cocktail for it. Here you go: Bulleit Points Ingredients: * 2 oz Bulleit Rye * ¾ oz Yellow Chartreuse * ½ oz Fresh lime juice * ¼ oz Agave nectar * 2 dashes Orange bitters * Lime wheel and candied ginger for garnish Instructions: 1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice 2. Shake well and double strain into a coupe glass 3. Garnish with lime wheel and a piece of candied ginger on a pick

Kentucky has more to offer than fried chicken!
I'm usually a single malt drinker; haven't had a bourbon for the best part of 40 yrs. That said, this is quite a different spirit than JD or JB. The nose is the big change for me with an over-riding candy-sweetness (the corn I guess) - not getting the orange notes on first neck pour, but I do agree with the spicy/tobacco flavour on the palette. It's smooth and drinks well at the higher strength of 45%. I honestly believe this will grow on me rapidly and at the current price point, it is an excellent alternative to my usual Highlands and Islands tipples. Hats off to Kentucky; you've won me over!

Smooth bourbon with a kick
Rich flavour, slightly spicy with a hint of vanilla, and very smooth neat or with mixers. Bottle design looks premium too.

Bulleit
I've always liked Bulleit bourbon and have tried various ones. Always have a bottle in the cupboard. It's great neat over ice or with a mixer. Very palatable
