Great for media, average for gaming
I wanted a tablet to replace my old Fire HD for entertainment, and came across this Lenovo with huge speakers on both sides. After using it for about half a year, this thing is a great entertainment tablet, though not so much for gaming in particular. For media, you have the whole array of online streaming apps like Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, etc, as well as local player apps like Kodi and MX Player. Combine that with the two big speakers, a crisp high resolution screen, and an SD card slot, this device really does feel premium when it comes down to video watching. The built-in kickstand also means you don't need to use anything else to set this on a table. Gaming on the other hand, or at least the games I've tried, are a hit or miss. I mainly play gacha games on phones, and while they're playable on this tablet, the performance doesn't quite hit the mark. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel plays fine at the lowest resolution but is blurry, and Nikke and Umamusume frequently drop below 25fps, which isn't a big deal for these games, but is still noticeable. I haven't tried any of the open-world gacha games with real-time combat yet like WW or Infinity Nikki, but I personally wouldn't even attempt to play them on this device. That said, this is a $200 media-first tablet, so gaming isn't really the priority here. Though one cool thing about gaming on this tablet is the inclusion of Lenovo One Vision, which lets you play games designed for portrait mode while the device is in landscape, without stretching out the game and warping the aspect ratio. Overall the Tab Plus 2024 is amazing when it comes to watching videos. It's sleak, and the speakers sound amazing. However, if you're buying this strictly for gaming, you might want to consider expanding your budget for the Lenovo Legion Tab.

Premium build quality at a bargain-bin price. Lenovo finally woke up.
Most tablets in this price range feel like plastic lunch trays pretending to be electronics. This one doesn’t. The Lenovo Tab Plus actually feels like someone in the company remembered what craftsmanship looks like. Solid chassis, clean lines, no toy-grade nonsense. If another brand slapped their logo on this exact build, you’d be staring at a 400 to 600 dollar price tag without blinking. Lenovo’s been uneven for years, but lately the price to quality ratio has taken a hard turn in the right direction. Materials, fit, finish, and overall aesthetics feel like they belong to a tablet in a different class. Even the buttons don’t have that cheap rattle you get from the usual budget suspects. The 11.5 inch 2K display is crisp, the Helio G99 runs things smoothly enough that you forget it’s a midrange chip, and the 8 JBL speakers are basically overkill in a way I actually appreciate (best, most overkill speakers of any tablet on the market $100 through $2000). Someone clearly aimed to make an entertainment tablet that doesn’t feel disposable, and they hit the mark. The included folio case is a nice touch instead of the usual nickel-and-dime accessory game - it actually looks nice and feels nice in the hand, though the way the tablet fits in it is weird. If you want premium build quality without lighting your wallet on fire, this is the one. Lenovo finally got their act together.

Good quality tablet for not alot of cash
Bought this primarily as a backup to my 3 year old iPad Pro. The Lenovo while Android based, gives you a lot for not much. The speaker system is about the best I've heard from any tablet, even better than my iPad which cost 3 times the price, loud and clear. This built in flip out stand is sturdy and makes it ideal for laying on your night stand to watch late night movies or streaming TV at your bedside. Cameras are pretty good for a tablet and perfect for video calls, Zoom, etc but don't expect DSLR quality. The display is also pretty bright and crisp. The battery lasts for hours playing Netflix and YouTube, and the processor is stout enough there isn't any lag or sluggishness noted. Lenovo includes a slip case AND 45 watt USB-C power brick and cable, two things you'll never get from Apple or Samsung. It actually has a HEADPHONE JACK, so you can plug in headphones, use it as a line out source, and if you use the FM radio tuner feature (yep, the tablet even has an FM tuner), you'll need to plug in headphones to use as an FM antenna (you can play the radio through the speakers but the headphones must be connected). The micro SD card slot supports data storage but you can't offload apps to the card. The out of box experience is simple. You can copy data from another tablet, phone (iOS or Android). The only irritant is Lenovo stuffing junkware/shovelware like stupid games and TikTok, but they can (and were) deleted. Other than that, it works well and price is low considering the build quality and specs. Lenovo says they will provide 4 years of updates. Mine came with Android 14 out of the box.

Best tablet for it's price, but be aware about what you're buying.
I saw the “this product was frequently returned” tag when I bought this tablet and was a bit concerned, despite it having good reviews. I think the reason for that is people assume this tablet is like others they’ve owned in the past without fully looking at the pictures. This tablet arguably has the best speakers on any tablet I’ve used (maybe even approaching iPad Pro levels), which is obvious from the large bass radiator hump on the back. I think this is why some people end up returning it: it makes the tablet awkward to hold unlike a traditional tablet, and you can’t lay it flat without it wobbling. I hadn’t seen any of the marketing material prior to my purchase, but I’m going to assume this is meant to be a “media” tablet rather than one designed for general use. That’s evident not only from its odd shape, but also from the built-in stand, which clearly suggests it’s meant to sit on a desk or counter while you watch videos or listen to music, rather than for reading in bed. Other than that, the performance is good for the price, with no noticeable lag. My only real complaints are that I wish the CPU chipset were a bit more powerful and the resolution a bit higher, as it feels a little low-res for an 11-inch screen.

Lenovo Scores Again!
What a nice tablet. The music comes out of the speakers in wonderful stereo, and the quality is far beyond what I expected. Only one issue, which isn't really an issue. I wish I had purchased a slightly larger tablet, though. I am using it to digitize my piano sheet music. It's ok for that, but slightly bigger would be easier to read. It paired instantly with my Bluetooth page-turning foot pedal, which I also purchased from Amazon. It has a good weight, doesn't feel cheap, and has a great screen. I had to download several apps, and the download speeds were impressive. Virtually zero wait time. So far, it has exceeded my expectations, and for the price, you can't go wrong. I have a little competing brand name table I use at work and I am considering buying another just for work.

SO close to perfect... I loved it at first sight but then ... *UPDATED*
Update. - one star. Very flakey with Bluetooth. My keyboard will lock up and the mouse will stop. I have to reboot to get everything going. LOGI brand on both and they work fine with everything else I have. I wanted a tablet just for gaming. I'm older and my hands don't work so well. My 2 Samsung tablets are just too thin and light. I wanted something bigger with some heft, that had some good sound. Effects or vibrations when I blow something up. And a NICE screen. This tablet has all that and more. Kickstand is built like a tank. Strong hinges, 8 yes EIGHT speakers, loud and great clarity. Plenty of base and not tinny. Watch the reviews many say it has the best ever speakers even over the iPad pro. It will fill a room with music. Fit and finish, typical Lenovo... Nice. Included case, eh cheap. Also includes a 45W power supply. I like at the bottom where the woofers are it's thick, easy to hang on to. So my ONLY gripe, and it not a deal breaker... But with Lenovo you can't run or save APPS to an SD card. I hate that.I have hundreds of gigs on my Samsung. WHY Lenovo dropped the ball here? I don't know. If I had known this I'd got the 256g model. Everything else is great, fast, pairs well to everything, great screen, good for light to medium gaming... I'll keep it.
