Overall a fantastic camera. Neat design, looks smart and works great. Very quick to setup, had this up and running within a couple of minutes. Clear video and night vision is very good. Using a micro SD card is simple and the settings for motion alerts are intuitive. The screw template that comes in the box is really useful for mounting the camera too. However, having the solar panel attached to the camera means there are limited positions to mount the camera to ensure plenty of daylight can reach the panel. We did test this in an area that had shade for most of the day though and it still holds charge really well, even in UK winter with fewer daylight hours. It would be really helpful to have the option to hardwire a power lead, for instances where the solar battery cannot charge enough (eg if someone needed to mount the camera in a position that receives no direct light). Although there is a USB C port for charging via a cable (and the cable is provided, which is very helpful), this doesn’t seem to be designed for permanent use as the port is under an IP rated rubber cover which needs to be closed before use outside. The only real negative is the mount design. It’s quite difficult to keep tension using the nut and I think over time this will come loose with the weight of the camera and outdoor weather conditions. If you try to change the angle of the camera once it’s been mounted on a wall, the tensioning nut comes undone and it’s fiddly to do up again with the camera in position. A more secure fixing method would help to improve the camera, but for the money this is still a great device.

This is a quality product for a very reasonable price. It took a bit of persuasion (several attempts at the 'present QR code to camera lens' stage) to get the camera to connect to my home wifi (not sure why), but the connection was solid once made. The camera is now mounted on an outside wall about 20m from the router but works absolutely fine. Just check that the camera works Ok in the intended location before you go to the trouble of fixing it permanently. I made a wooden "plinth" that I fixed to the wall with two screws, then fixed the camera to the plinth. Much easier than trying to drill four holes accurately into brick/mortar. The app has lots of options so it took a bit of time to set up the alerts how I wanted them. You can view the state of charge of the battery via the app. It comes with a USB charging cable but you will probably never need it once the camera is installed. Image quality is impressive. We'll just have to see how well the camera stands up to the weather! Based on initial experience, highly recommended.

I'm really pleased with this camera. The setup experience is really simple and integrated easily with the other cameras I have on the Wansview app. I installed the camera in less than five minutes - just four screws to fix the base on to the side of the building and then attach the main camera body. It connected instantly to my WiFi and started sending alerts and video. The quality is excellent and there are lots of features should you wish to use them - like recognising humans and not alerting on random movement of trees and so on. The night light is bright and reliable. Solar charging has been working well for the last week or so - as expected.

It's a great camera, picture is good. It's responsive and gets a good signal even fairly far from my router. The night vision is also very good. Deffo stands up to the weather, it's been raining hard for almost a week now with no issues. Would be 5 stars but the battery is small for this country. It runs out to quickly and can't charge enough in the british winter. I have other cameras from this company which actually do very well in this area and charge enough to run all winter. Not this one though. But other than that, a very solid piece of kit which is well worth the money. First pic is day light, second is night vision and the third is nicht with the built in light on.

Nice outdoor camera,easy to install and to set it up. Is well,made,and good quality too. Has an internal solar panel which is very useful especially for the places where the socket access is limited. The camera is using an app where you can connect multiple cameras that are using the same app. The app is easy and to use and download from App Store or Play Store. The camera has two ways of video recording or pictures, one is on SD card ( not included ) and free of cost and the other one is on 2K (iCloud ) which requires monthly subscription. Both ways ,the video is nice and clear during night and day. Thanks

I'm using this brand for a long time now and I was waiting from them to make a solar camera as I needed a couple in my garden as I don't have a power source there. This camera is very easy to setup via the app as I'm already using this app it's a straight forward setup just add the new camera and follow a couple of steps and you're ready to go. The transmission range is amazing picture quality is good as well filming in 2k quality it's more than enough for my garden. It charges the battery very quickly even with less sunny days the battery holds charge for a long time. All in one very good quality camera and great price! Works very well! Couldn't be happier. As I am a regular costumer for this brand as I'm supplying my family and friends with this cameras I should have an extra discount on my purchases :)

Camera has very good image quality but not without its flaws. Setting up: Plug in the camera and leave to charge. Place a micro sd card into the slot near the charging port to allow saving of images and recordings if desired. Download the mobile app and follow the instructions to set-up and connect it to your wifi network (only works with 2.4Ghz wifi). Install the camera using the supplied screws in your preferred location. Access the camera through the app to view live stream and adjust motion detection or other settings as required. Overview: High quality image resolution with built in solar panel which keeps the camera battery charged up. I found detection to be good and alerts are received through the app via a notification on your phone. The camera automatically switches to night vision when dark and there are options in the app to turn on a light, speak through the camera microphone and activate a siren. There are options for cloud storage if needed (subscription required). Negatives: app used to view the camera can be glitchy at times. heavy rain at night time can obscure the view of camera as droplets form on the lens. camera often needs to be adjusted as it can move out of position due to bad weather (most annoying).

Great camera, very clear even in the dark. The sound on it is quite muffled but I don’t really mind as I prefer a good picture. Setting it up was not easy, I am slightly tech savvy but I had to get someone else to help with the memory card configuration steps because I had no clue how to do that, to the point I nearly sent it back because I thought it was broken. Once setup tho it is great! The reason I have given 4 stars is the battery life isn’t the best. It is solar and there hasn’t been much sun at the minute, as it’s winter, so I’m having to bring it in and charge it once a week, this is a pain because it’s outside and I have to climb on things to get it. It needs to charge over night too, it’s not a quick thing to do. Overall I would recommend this camera to everyone, its value for money and I couldn’t be without it now :) I have added photos to show the quality, the first photo was when it was dark and the second is in the day time
