This is an excellent Alarm Clock for everyday use. It is much larger than the travel alarm clocks making it easier to use and see when you no longer have 20/w0 vision !! It is very well built and feels robust unlike many travel alarms and has great features including silent motion, large hands, a gentle backlight which can made temporarily bright by pushing the top button. A good alarm which progressively gets louder. All in all a top class everyday alarm clock

This clock is a nice size and has a silent sweeping second hand. To see the time in the dark you just press the top of it and it has a lovely blue/white light . It also has a sensor if you wish it to have a casual continuous light on its face. Easy to set and switch off the alarm. The only thing l found odd was it houses 3 AA batteries instead of the usual 2. I would recommend the clock.

Excellent value for the price. Bought for my Father who has poor eyesight, it does the job very well. The night light is also very handy and not too bright.Its early days but time keeping is also very good, wouldnt hesitate to reccomend this product.

Clock was a gift to my brother as he was finding it difficult to use a standard night light. Letters are very clear. Clock easy to use. Item does the job. Very pleased with transaction and would buy again.

The clock case is pretty solid and would withstand the hand slap on the snooze button without complaint. It has a large face which makes it easy to read without glasses. The alarm sound starts muted then builds in volume and tempo. The backlight is adequate.That's the good stuff. The bad stuff....This is a replacement as the first clock arrived without battery contacts so didn't work, it takes 3 batteries to make it work.I'm not sure if I've just got a second faulty one but the alarm setting is 5 minutes slow so an on the hour alarm will go off at 5 past. Not a massive problem but bear that in mind when hitting the snooze button!Overall I'm pretty disappointed with it.UPDATEI've downgraded my original rating to 1 star, after a couple of months the clock has developed a very loud rapid tick and the only way to stop it is to lay it face down which kind of defeats the object.

Bought for my father who has very poor sight. He is really pleased with the size of the numbers on the clock face and the clock is a good size for his bedroom

Of the cheap alarms that we have tried, this is the best so far.UPSIDE : Low cost, large body, clarity of display, clear controls, automatic night-light display,good battery supply (3x AA).DOWNSIDE : Alarm not loud enough to wake the dead.A++
