Used for camping in forest, only got bitten outside of thermacell ‘zone’. Excellent product, refills bit pricey but worth it

Excellent product if a little expensive. The LED lighting is good and not too bright, easy to operate and thermacell works really well keeping away midges and mozzies. The pads and gas are a little expensive unless like me you tend to be plagued by midges. It definitely works for me so I put up with the cost. Not sure how long the batteries last but being led it should be ok. One last thing, abroad the lanterns are much cheaper than in the UK about half as much even taking into consideration tax, which always niggles me. Would have been five stars but for the cost of pads and gas as well as base lantern costs in uk.

I'm going to give it another go is a slightly less aggressive environment. If it's any better, I'll be back to change my review.Essentially if you're buying this for the Highlands, don't waste your money. Spend it on a midgie hat and you'll be a LOT happier! Trust me!!!!

Did the NC500 on a motorcycle over 8 days. Saw the blurb on this product and thought it sounded great at repelling midges. In reality it was no use whatsoever. Its just an expensive LED lamp now, and not even good at that. Please don't waste your money like I did.

Non mi sembra che le mie zanzare siamo infastidite da questa lampada... le piastrine sono le sue originali, vedo che x altri funziona... a casa mia non funziona le zanzare ci danno fastidio ugualmente
