This bleed has been there for me through heaven and hell. It has bled over 35 bikes hydro brakes and a few mess ups I still have about a quarter left I love this bleed kit it comes with all the perfect tools and parts for beginners to bleed their or their friends brake systems. The fill cup will only bleed Shimano brake systems BUT you can bleed any caliper this is probably one of the best kits I’ve ever bought and if I ever need the parts all together ever again I will make sure to buy this kit again!!BUT the syringe did brake after stepping on it and it did have the pushy thing come out of the sealant but it was very easy to put it back in so it’s very easy and amazing to use thank you so much for this product!!!

I have a Ghost Kato with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. I hadn’t used it much in the past year and had it hanging upside down in the garage. When I went to use it, the brakes were flat. Must have been a bit of air in both lines. Although I service all my family’s bikes, had never worked on disc brakes before. There were good reviews on this brake bleed kit, so I bought it.The kit has pretty clear instructions in both English and Spanish ( although I can’t read Spanish, ha ha). It was a pretty simple job to bleed the brakes and push out the old fluid, which was clear, with the new red mineral oil included in the kit. The funnel fit perfectly on my brake lever and the syringe tube fit perfectly on my caliper nipple.I also replaced the pads at the same time with some aftermarket pads from Corki. The brakes work well after the service. It probably took me about an hour to do both brakes, but guessing the next time I could probably do both in 30 minutes. It’s a good bleed kit and hopefully it will store well for the next use.

Seems to be a well equipped and nicely made kit. Comes with pieces necessary for road or mountain bike levers. I used it to bleed the Shimano road levers on my gravel bike. The instructions have a QR code that takes you to a website for a pretty straight forward tutorial (although the language is German, with English subtitles). I was able to easily bleed my brakes in a short amount of time.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of this kit. Half the price of the kit from the company that rhymes with Bimano. The adapters are made of metal and everything works well. The only downside is that the bleed block doesn’t screw into place but it does work, when you use the provided rubber band. Definitely worth the savings there. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, even for a novice like me.

I have not used it yet I’m waiting for another tool so I can run the hose and compress the fitting on the end of it before I can bleed the rear brakes.

A few items make this a less that perfect bleed kit. Firstly the tube that attaches to the caliper bleed nipple is too loose a fit and wont stay attached without you holding it on. Other kits include a compression sleeve the slides over the tube to maintain a tight connection.The second issue is the adapter that is used between the funnel and the lever fill port, it's a nicely made metal part but is easy to cross thread in the port, the Shimano adapter is molded plastic which is less likely to damage.

I've only done the front brake so far but the kit worked nicely. The instructions are excellent and I followed them closely. I was starting from completely empty and I had to push the oil through the brake cable about 5 or 6 times to get completely bubble free. The brake feels great now though.I didn't rate durability since the kit says not for re-use, which is a bit strange since you at least would want to use it front and back. Apart from fatigue in the hose that connects the syringe to the brake, I don't see why you couldn't reuse the hardware.

I bought the set due to the contents and other reviews. It’s well supplied and there is a good amount of fluid for maintenance tasks. I’ve been contemplating buying a kit just like this for a long time.I didn’t hold old much hope for the brakes I was bleeding but, this set worked perfect and the brakes are back to what they should be. I’m very happy with the purchase.
