Rolife Book Nooks are fabulous! I thoroughly enjoy putting them together. The instructions are thorough, well illustrated, and the quality of the materials are excellent, with one exception: The paper parts that attach to the project with 'tabs'.Some of the tabs tend to bend and the paper frays after several attempts to keep a tab in a slot, especially when you have to insert multiple tabs and one or two keep slipping out. I had to cut off a couple of the tabs that became unusable and glue the piece to the wood, but that's a relatively minor issue considering the overall quality of the materials.I especially appreciate the dust cover that was included with this kit. I have one that my son got me for Christmas, also Rolife, that doesn't have a dust cover and one isn't offered separately for sale. I can't imagine how I would ever clean one of these projects out, so I'm going to try to make my own. I hope that dust covers will either be included, or be an optional accessory for all kits in the future.I highly recommend Rolife. I just purchased a larger kit offered by another manufacturer and the quality doesn't even begin to compare to Rolife. I do wish Rolife made more of the larger 'miniatures'. I find these relaxing, but I also find them hard to put away once I get started, so I would love to have something of this quality that requires many more hours to complete.

Have made multiple book books from this company. Very little adjustment needed and directions are pretty clear. I did glue a few areas, but the kit holds well on its own overall. Electrical was easy and fun to do. Will be making the Sakura model with my daughter.

This is a very simple book nook kit that you can finish in one day. It took me about 4 hours. All wooden parts/paper parts are pre-cut and the instruction booklet is very clear, easy to follow. The sample photos on the sleeve of the box/the instruction booklet are very clear so you can check what it should look like. Also it's easy to take apart to fix if you notice something isn't right. After I thought it was complete, I notice there was a tree piece left on an MDF board. I simply took apart the ceiling and a wall and added the piece. All pieces including small pieces came off without breaking. If you're looking for a kit that needs an actual building, this might be too simple for you. There's not much room for making it your own by changing material or adding extra stuff to it.Pretty much all pieces fit with their recipient. The kit came with a small piece of sandpaper if there's any piece that doesn't fit. I used an emery board to sand evenly.The only issue I had was paper pieces. All but one piece fit perfectly in a great angle. Just one piece did not fit; I cut the inserting parts by 1mm and they fit, but the parts were already split and lost the firmness, and the part wouldn't stay in. The inserting parts were not long enough to tape them on the back of its recipient MDF board. Also I noticed paper pieces don't stick well with a MDF piece, and I ended up using glue. Also I wish the mannequin was not a flat piece.Overall, this is a well-made kit that you can build without much effort and tools---all you need is a pair of scissors and 2 AAA batteries. It comes with a small screw driver to open the battery compartment. I taped it on the bottom of the completed book nook for when I need to replace the batteries.

My husband builds these and I'm actually putting away books to make room on it shelves. They're truly beautiful, and the fine details are captivating

Easy build. This one is good for a beginner. Went together in less than 3hrs. Appreciate that it comes with dust cover.
