This neck stretching device is gentle and very effective. I do a lot of computer work and this allows relief on my neck by gently supporting and stretching it. I find that when the device is completely full of air, it slightly pushes my shoulders on either sides of my neck just a bit, and this feels amazing. I use this in the morning and before bed. a simple device that is well made.I like that after filling the device with enough air to your liking, you can then move the little ball in the tubing, allowing you to disconnect the pump and move freely at your desk, while watching tv or while doing tasks around the house. The material is a soft velvety material that is nice to have to add to the comfort level. Buy this to help relieve neck tension!

Helps significantly reduce pain, headaches, dizziness caused from my neck injury (MVA). Helps by inflating and taking pressure off of spine, giving the nerves a bit more space to rest and calm down. Just a band aid until future surgery in my case- but for sure helping to put it off as I had hoped.

When my ortho doc suggested I get a traction device for my neck to help stretch things out, I thought it was going to be one of those $200-$300 behemoths. NOPE! He said he and his wife and he's an ortho-surgeon! I tried it out and it's a gem. It's small enough decompressed that I can pack it in my carry-on to use at the hotel after a long travel day. What a life saver! The fabric is soft, it doesnt get hot, doesn't have an awful plastic smell after it airs out for a few minutes (I"m very sensitive) and it WORKS. Solid value.

I have always been worried about snapping my neck. A when I say it like that it sound weird, but as I got older I started loosing the squish in between my vertebra. It started pinching nerves causing pain in my back, hips, legs, butt. One day when I was going in for neck surgery, the nurses and other patients started talking about a neck pillow that you inflate an it helps stretch the neck safely. Before the surgery I asked the Dr & he agreed it was a good device. Afterwords, I forgot about the pillow. About a year later I started getting itchy bumps on my arms, & was sent to a dermatologist. He said the itch was caused by the spine in my neck collapsing and cutting off the spinal fluid to my nerves. He Recomended to get this thing like a blood pressure cuff to put around the neck to help raise the spine. My Daughter found this, I instinct remembered the serger conversation and got the pillow.This thing is awesome! I was only able to we are it about 5 min the first time & 15 min for about a week after. But now I love wearing it for about 30 min a day. Once in morning if I have time & once before bed. It takes away the itch and My body pain is gone! Well almost. I can wake up in the mornings and not be in pain from laying in bed! My spine has moved back int healthy alinement and my back pain is Gone! The pain and itching in my arms are going away and I feel so much better. I do not take meds also I put it to this thing and the essential oils I have created to help! I’m so excited, my energy level has increased and I feel so much better than before. Highly recommended to anyone with any of these issues.

Works for my disc issues, however the Velcro is of poor quality and should be wider and positioned better for smaller necks. It does not hold well, which defeats the entire purpose of getting a good fit. The Velcro straps are also too long for a normal person, maybe they should offer a different model for XL necks. Otherwise, it definitely helps for long car drives etc.

Typically don't write reviews but seeing this as a most often returned item isn't a fair assessment. This is not meant to eliminate your neck pain. That problem is usually much deeper in nature. This simply is a traction device to help stretch the neck out, maybe get the neck muscles firing again and in the process certainly can provide some level of relief but shouldn't be used to solve an entire neck or shoulder issue. It does exactly what it should. Having a large neck I was happy that it was able to accommodate the size. I happily kept this product.
