Works great with Home Assistant
Connects right away with Home Assistant. Sensitivity and time of reaction are very good.

Not compatible with smartthings anymore
There is no official edge driver and no user created one that I can find. This means that the device connects to smartthings as a generic zwave device and does not function as a motion detector in any manner. I guess you could create your own driver from an existing edge driver but I just returned it for a device that is supported by its manufacturer. Don't buy this for use with smartthings.

Works With Home Assistant
Inclusion into my Home Assistant network with a Zooz 800 series Z-wave LR USB stick was pretty straightforward. This device supports S2 security and can be powered by a CR123A battery (included) or via micro USB connection (when powered by micro USB, the device can also act as a Z-wave repeater).Sensitivity is better than my Monoprice IR motion sensors, even at the default (4) sensitivity level. This HomeSeer MS100 G8 800 Series Z-Wave Plus Wireless Long Range Security Infrared PIR Motion Sensor paired quickly to Home Assistant. I ran a few initial tests and it detected motion each time so I have confidence that this will work as expected for our purpose. Overall, it seems to be well made, works exactly as expected, so I recommend it.
