Well-built, robustly constructed jack with an excellent hard-side plastic case. Video attached.
The media could not be loaded. There are a variety of compact jacks available out there. This jack is on the larger side of the “compact” spectrum, but don’t let the word “compact” fool you into thinking it might be made with thin or cost-cutting materials – it most definitely is not. Quite to the contrary, the build quality of this jack is excellent with heavy gauge steel used throughout. The design is well-thought, with a wide, stable stance even for a compact setup. The video I attached includes a side-by-side view of this jack versus a smaller compact jack, as well as my larger 3.5-ton floor jack – it will really help to give you a better impression and perspective of the design, construction, size, and weight of this jack.I normally use a large 3.5-ton floor jack, but I tested this “Amvia” jack while working on a VW Beetle, and it had absolutely no problem in effortlessly raising a corner. Even though the handle isn’t long enough to offer a great deal of leverage, it really took a minimal amount of effort to get the rear-corner lifted. Then again, a VW Beetle isn’t much of a test. I then used the jack yesterday to facilitate rotating the tires on my Tundra. I alternated lifting the driver’s front, then the passenger’s front side using this jack, and it never complained at all - it was sure-footed and stable for both lifts. It is worth noting that it took more elbow-grease to lift my Tundra than the VW, but nothing out of the ordinary for a smaller jack with a short handle. The build quality of the jack is confidence inspiring. Although I feel it is in the compact category, it is built in a similar fashion to a larger floor jack, just without the longer handle. And I have to say, the weight of this jack lets you know that there is some substantial steel used in its construction. Relatively speaking, this is a heavy compact jack – it weighs in at just about 30-pounds. More details on that compared to my other jacks in the included video. The jack handle has a built in ½-inch drive adapter for use with the included sockets. I would prefer that the handle was straight as opposed to the bent design, but it works fine. While I appreciate the included sockets and the ½-inch drive adapter built into the handle, I’m unclear as to how durable that setup is, particularly with high-torque lugs, and especially if they have been on for a long period of time. My suggestion if you plan on carrying this jack for emergency tires changes is to keep a ½-inch breaker bar in the storage case as well as an appropriate socket for the particular vehicle. For my DIY projects at home, I don’t need to worry about that. In fact, you can remove a single Philips screw and detach the ½-inch drive adapter from the jack handle, leaving only the handle, which is precisely what I have done. Also, the plastic storage case is a great convenience, and in my opinion, an important one. It makes storing the jack in the shop easier, and it’s perfect if you plan on tossing it in your vehicle.Overall, this is a great jack, and it is built like something of a mini-tank. The materials all seem to be thicker and larger than what would be necessary, and that is just fine by me. It is sure-footed for a compact jack, and lowering the jack under load is controllable and precise. The carrying handle, although plastic, is nicely done, and the case is just icing on the cake for making the jack a very nice setup. It seems that when I received the jack for testing, it was selling for around $50, and at that price, I feel it is absolutely a five-star product. The current price that I see at the time I am writing this review is about $72, and at that price, well, I do still feel that this is a five-star product, however, I just can’t be as enthusiastic about it as I would at a lower price point. That said, this is still a great setup.

Designed to be everything needed for changing a tire
Nice little jack. It's rated at 2 tons (or 4000 lbs) which is plenty for lifting one end of most cars, or one wheel of a heavier vehicle like a 4 door pickup. They make heavier jacks, but then the jack is heavy to lug around. For most cars and pickups this is perfect.I love that the handle doubles as a lug wrench and the double ended sockets attach to the jack so you wont get in a situation where you have a jack but no lug wrench.Combining them like they did on this jack just makes sense.I had to edit this review after using it a bit and realizing that the handle on this jack is awesome. On most jacks the handle is hard to turn to let the jack down, and when you finally turn it the jack comes flying down ridiculously fast. With the end of this handle bent like it is, it's really easy to let the jack down slowly. I usually use vise grips on my other jacks to turn the handle. Don't need them with this one!Great item!

2 tons, with 15.5" lift, and the handle is a 1/2" drive
This is a heavy steel jack. It's not as heavy as the large jacks, but it is steel. It is rated at 2 tons, which is fine for most cars and trucks. The lift is 15.5".This will allow you to lift most cars, and some SUV's, and maybe some larger SUV's under the axle. The end of the jack handle is a 1/2" drive square. They also supply 2 sockets, but the sockets are double sockets, with a socket on each end.The jack is not perfect, there are paint chips, but it seems to work ok.Many cars these days don't have a jack, this is a good option for the occasional trip where you want to carry gear.

Very nice jack
This jack is packaged very well for emergency use. It is heavier than your typical trolley jack. The jack is capable of lifting most vehicles. The handle doubles as a breaker bar. There's even a socket holder built in that holds the 2 included flip sockets. The sizes included are the most common sizes, so you're most likely covered in any situation. The blow mold case is built well too, my only gripe with it is the latches. They're basically plastic tabs that stick out from the lid. They'll break off eventually if you're not careful. That's a minor issue, the rest of the package is solid. The jack itself is well made. It's plenty strong for most vehicles. The jack rolls around easily. It also has a grab handle to help move it around. If you care about the paint, this jack is well painted. I think it's the perfect balance between the cheap scissor jacks that come with vehicles and the much heavier floor jacks.
