This product is excellent for wound dressings because it conforms to the wound
This product is excellent for wound dressings because it conforms to the wound, remains moist and absorbs as the wound heals. We used this to dress a post op abdominal wound and unfortnately it was unavailable for a short period of time. So instead we had to use sorbosan which basically led to ribbon braking off in the wound requiring forceps to remove and friction pain. We then went back to aquacel with very good results.
