If it was possible to give this 10 stars, I would. What a tremendous little speaker. I simply cannot believe the quality for the price. My 6 disc CD changer in my car went kaput a while ago. I cannot at this time change out the console, so I looked for a solution. Mostly, I use the CD player to listen to messages from my favorite ePastor, Alistair Begg. I burned over 50 CD's of messages to listen to while in my car. I was very disappointed to think that I would not be able to play these anymore. But this is even better. I have a 5th generation iPod Touch that I was getting ready to sell thinking it did not need it. I am so glad I did not. The iPod synced perfectly with the speaker in just a few moments. Now I do not have to burn CD's and have access to so much more with the Bluetooth connection. How surprised I was to hear the clear tones and loud volume from this little box. WOW. I place it on the dash in the car and can listen with no problems at all over the road noise and engine sounds. For speaking, the sound is perfect. The voice tones are great. There is a tiny bit lacking in the bass, but this is not that noticeable unless you are expecting to hear full range. With music, the sound is good, but this is not an expensive BOSE system, so you will notice the difference.....goes without saying. But for my purposes, I cannot ask for anything better, and I still do enjoy the music with it. Thank you SoundBot for an incredible product. Forgot to mention how hefty this is. Does not feel cheap at all. It has a nice rubberized coating and the speaker itself is well constructed. I recommend highly.

Sound quality is great. No complaints there. Very loud, great bass, etc. Most reviews already cover that aspect.My two complaints:1) Within 10 seconds of turning the speaker on, a female voice says---VERY LOUDLY----"PAIRING COMPLETE" or "PAIRING NOT COMPLETED." Note the capital letters there. That loud announcement cannot be muted or turned down. I used to use one of these in my office, but it's so darn annoying to have that announcement blast out every single morning whether it's "completed" pairing the Bluetooth that my office mates started complaining. And they're right, it is pretty annoying and it cannot be prevented. It's almost unsettling. Note: My friend has an Amazon speaker that looks the same as this device, but it does not make that annoying announcement. So I'm thinking about getting one of those.2) I bought two of these devices. One of them completely stopped working after six months and does not charge. Very disappointed. The second one still works fine.Overall, three stars. It works as described, but the announcement is incredibly loud/annoying every time the device is used, and one of my purchased devices stopped working altogether.The pictures provided on Amazon are accurate, but I will not be purchasing any more of these speakers in the future.

I love it! I bought this speaker with my own money to use with my HP Pavilion laptop running Win 8.1. The sound is great and plenty loud; crisp and clear, with nice range from high to low frequencies, especially when you enable the bass boost function in your computer's sound properties. There is the usual hissing when it's hooked up via the aux cable, and a barely noticeable hiss when it's charging via usb. I can only hear it when the audio is silent and only if I really listen for it. When no wires are connected, there is zero noise interference. My laptop doesn't have bluetooth so I have this paired with the Plugable® USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter (Windows 8.1, 8, 7, XP, Raspberry Pi, Linux Compatible; Classic Bluetooth, and Stereo Headset.) It works like a charm and I've had no problems. The only thing I don't like is the super loud 'BLOOP" and paired/not paired verbal notifications. I don't know why they made those prompts so loud. I like that the lights is on top. You can see it just a little from the front grill, but it doesn't flash right in your face like units with lights on the front. The buttons work just fine and so far this has been a great purchase. I agree with other reviewers that the bluetooth range is very limited, but for my use, it's not a problem at all. I highly recommend this speaker if you're on a budget.

So glad I listened to reviews on this wireless speaker because I saved a ton of money! We were looking for an outdoor speaker for a pool party and didn't want to fork over the money for a Bose. This speaker has an excellent range (left phone inside sun room overlooking pool and placed speaker on the deck). It connects super easy (we used an iPad mini and a Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge). The battery life is more than sufficient (will tell you when it's getting low). It's also super durable. At one point the speaker fell off the deck railing onto a concrete sidewalk after being impaled by a beach ball and since the speaker is wrapped in silicone it didn't even make a mark!The sound quality is amazing. My husband is super picky about speakers and was actually impressed with how loud it was able to get and even commented about the clarity. The construction of the speaker also looks expensive, definitely comparable to higher priced brands.If you are on the fence about this speaker because of the cheap price, just get it. I spent a lot of time researching wireless speakers before purchasing this one and I am very happy with my purchase. Especially if you are just looking for a speaker to upgrade your party or to use at the office, this is an investment you won't regret.

Battery swelled up and died. Prior to this, Bluetooth had intermittent connectivity issues.Sound quality is top notch, loud, and the bass is rich for a speaker of this size.

Best in Class sound output in it's category. Bass is good. No distortions till 90% volume. sometimes the distortion is negligible even at full volume. Good battery backup. A must buy for people looking to buy a portable bluetooth speaker with a budget of around 1500. Go for it. You won't regret your purchase.
