Really love it

I have just bought the book and just flipped through it without sitting down and taking the time yet. Right out of the gate 2 things stroke me: 1) although the cover of the book is printed in colors, the inside of the book is black & white, which is off putting to say the least, because it is misleading and because they should have used colors in the first place to help readers distinguish between all sorts of small icons and signs and small prints, etc. It is just common practice when you have to cover such an intrinsic and great number of details within a book. Secondly, the Simulation module is missing entirely, so if you want to learn the Finite Element Analysis / Thermal analysis/etc, you cannot. I would have appreciated to know that before I bought the book, because FEA was one of the things I was after. Other than these 2 cons, I haven't had the time to see how it reads, how user friendly it may be (without the use of colors !), how easy or difficult it comes across, etc. It may seem unfair to judge a book through the lenses of either something that is missing or by its cover ( !) , because it doesn't say anything about the ''quantity'' that there is in there, but I will write more when I have sat and chewed enough of the book to see how it unveils.

Not easy to navigate all the information, index has gapes.

I have used Fusion 360 for 3 years. There are areas where I wanted to expand my knowledge, joints and drawings. This is an excellent book to work on areas you are not familiar with and the part files are easily downloaded and work with the book tutorials. Having a book for this provides an great alternative, an additional channel of learning to YouTube. I have the Tutorial Books series by Kishore and find this book a better reference in terms of its detail of each subject and a more comprehensive book for Fusion 360 in general. If you are looking for one book, this is the one.
