The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this card reader since june 3 with my Nextorage 480GB CFexpress Type A card.It works exactly as expected -super fast transfers, no connection drops, no weird glitches. I’ve already transferred over 400GB of video content through it, and it handled everything smoothly.One thing I really like: it comes with both USB-C and USB-A built-in, so I can easily use it with different devices without carrying extra adapters. I’ve tested it on Windows and Mac, and it was plug and play on both.The build quality is also surprisingly good - it doesn’t feel cheap. The casing feels solid, and the connectors are firm and well-made.No complaints at all.

I use CF Express Type A cards in my camera. This card reader allows me to quickly offload massive amounts of data to my desktop computer for post processing.To get the best use of this device, you should use it in a 3.1 (or newer) USB port. However the interface will be able to downgrade to earlier versions. The device supports the type C mechanical connection and has an attached type A adapter. I use the reader with the adapter in a 3.1 port. The issues I see are the typical Windows 10 USB mishandling of removable media. I don't perceive that this device makes anything worse in that regard.

Works perfect and great price

I have used this a couple of times, and it worked fine. I have only recently moved to express cards from SD's with my camera. While the camera cyclyes internally much faster with the express cards, the transfer from express cards to my external drive bank is not much faster than the SD cards I have been using. The lack of extremely high transfer rate may be due to the external drives rather than this reader of the express cards or the express card. Anyway, it works and seems well made for the price.

Great quality, fast and reliable

Yeah!!!! It works exactly as promised. My computer doesn’t have a slot for my DSLR camera. I plugged this into a USB port and immediately it asked what I wanted to do. I said review photos. It was very very fast in responding.It lights up when the card is inserted so you know it’s on. Then you just hold the card down and it pops back out the same as in my camera.Now I can see and review my photos on the big monitor and decide then what I want to keep.Thank you thank you thank you for making this product so I can download my photos to my computer.

Works with Sony Cards for my FX30! No complaints and no issues. Had it going on a year now!
