Milk-Bone MaroSnacks Dog Treats, Beef, 40 Ounce with Real Bone Marrow and Calcium

We spent an additional £15.25 on these as we had to collect them at the Post Officed AFTER our Postman gave us a CUSTOMS INVOICE. So, unless you want to spend double the price quoted on Amazon, don't buy these or any MILKBONE products, made in the USA! Have given our dogs these Milk-Bone treats for at least 10 years or however long they've been on the market. They're excellent when training a dog & you're on a walk. With these treats in your pocket, they're easy to grab & they don't leave tons of crumbs in the pockets when a garment's put into the washing machine.Wish they weren't so very expensive.

Real bone marrow ?

My dog absolutely loves it! I've been looking for a good quality dog treat that's also economical because my pup deserves only the best (that I can afford on my sad college student budget). He's a small, 15lb dachshund-terrier-chihuahua mix and inhales small treats so I worry he'll choke on the ones meant for his size and I'd have to perform the heimlich on the tiny thing. So instead, I bought the Large size which are about the size of his paw and takes him a while to chew through. He loves chewing on things since he's still young so getting this size was perfect. No more inhaling treats, chewing through my stuff, and it keeps him busily happy. The box is huge and I got it at an amazing price compared to in-store and the option for his size were more expensive anyway so I recommend looking through all the sizes for the cheapest one because they always change regardless of the product size/weight. Pros: -Affordable -Dog loves it and it satisfies his chewing needs -Good quantity -Doesn't smell bad -Not sticky/slimy like other treats so I don't feel the need to wash my hands after -I enjoy looking at the cute Husky on the packaging Cons: -Make sure you buy it at the right price -Box is a little difficult to use so might have to transfer them

Milkbone Original Crunchy Treats / B000EBKSCU My puppy just loves these Milkbone treats. Though the box says "Great for Training", they are a bit too big for proper treat training (which involves slicing the treats very thinly so that the dog doesn't get satiated or fattened up) because the treats are very hard and cannot be easily sliced into smaller pieces. However, they are uniquely good for training "Leave It!" - I can drop it on the floor and the puppy immediately notices the smell and comes over to investigate. And if he decides to ignore my "Leave It!" command, the treat is big enough and hard enough that it survives in his mouth long enough for my to reach in and grab it and start over - no rewards for ignoring "Leave It!", or he'll ignore it always. After only a few weeks of training, "Leave It!" is well-understood and almost always obeyed, thanks to these yummy Milkbones. Also, since these are larger and more satisfying that his usual treats, he also gets these at crate time. When Mommy says "Crate!" that means he snuggles into his crate and waits anxiously for his Milkbone treats. He absolutely adores them, and loves gobbling them up happily. These came carefully packed from Amazon with no shipping problems. The bulk price on Amazon is much cheaper than anything I've found locally and much more convenient. ~ Ana Mardoll

Cost is pretty high

I bought these thinking they were the regular size (i.e. not the large dog size) and it turns out that they are snack size. In other words they are about half the size of your little finger, intended as 5 calorie treats to use during dog training. This is written on the box in the picture but somehow I missed it. Not a problem for my dog, but not the size I was expecting either. Overall this is a great product and actually lists the calories on the box so you can monitor your pet's intake. Highly recommended.
