First thing I noticed was the extra large size. I knew this ordering but in my head it was a bit smaller. Happy with this because it can be used for a multitude of different scenarios. For me the variety of uses is worth the slightly bigger and heavier size.It could be a ground cover of course, shade awning fabric, lean to or rain cover, privacy screen, or an extra tent rainfly. It’s thin enough to be squish able to a small footprint but it is large enough to give pause to a hiker due to extra ounces.I got it for any of the above reasons but mainly because I was stuck overnight at airport with my son and now want to have a floor shield in my EDC. We pack a lot so we had a comfortable fleece blanket as our bedding so we didn’t have to sleep directly on the floor and we both had another travel blanket but that meant the warm fleece had to be washed before using and we still had another flight the next day. This would have also been wonderful as a privacy screen and light cover as we could have draped over the railing and our luggage cart to make our “camping spot” darker. We already had portable chargers and sound spa, plus wipes and baby powder after we changed into clean layered outfits for the colder weather so we did rest in the best quality for the unfortunate overnight delay but this will help with the dirty factor of any similar situation. If only one person needs it can was be folded in half to reduce the overall square footage. Definitely going to be ordering several more for keeping in car, extra luggage, and EDC load outs. Bonus aspect: it’s my favorite color and does not draw as much attention as the bright and glaring primary colors usually available although hikers may wish to have a bright signal tarp in an situation.

Me and my husband had went to a bluegrass festival so I bought this beach blanket for that and I'm glad I did! It's very easy to set up,portable, and light. Comes with a carrying bag which doesn't take much room at all. The material makes it easy to heat dust off any dirt or food that gets onto it and what doesn't come off does easily in the wash or rinse offwith the hose as well. We always keep it in the car now for when we need it like taking our kids to the park or going down to the lake.

I know, it is black and so using it as a bed cover seems a bit drab, BUT my dog sleeps on the bed with us. He is an ABSOLUTE SLOB. He also frequently haw an upset stomach from some horror he gobbled up outdoors before we could stop him.I anchor the waterproof sheet to each corner of our bed using Command hooks, upside down so that no matter how much the dog rolls around or tries to `rearrange` it, it remains the top layer of our bed.NOW when he gags I can just unhook the waterproof sheet and wash that up instead of having to launder the entire BEDclothes set!Pitiful, isn’t it, to have a waterproof tarp-like blanket over the top of a lovely comforter and duvet... but what a LOT of work and effort I have saved!It rustles. It slides (hence the Command hooks) and it is ugly (as a bed cover...it’s FINE looking for its advertised purpose!). (Actually, with vivid jewel tones accents it is quite interesting to look at!)But it is waterproof, easy to clean, has handy anchor straps so it will stay put and it is an affordable fix.

Purchased to use at a wine event. I basically used it as a base. The fabric is very durable. It comes with 4 plastic stakes that i used to keep the blanket in place and it folds into a small storage bag. I was asked by many where did I purchase it. I will definitely keep this in my car. You never know when you would need it.

Large footprint and extremely versatile. I have used it in multiple setting and I definitely love it. I thought i needed one this large but ultimately decided to cut it down to size. I now have 3 distinct sizes of the same material and love them thoroughly.

This “blanket” is nothing more than an extremely thin piece of vinyl-type material. It is a good size, but it truly is useless when it comes to feeling protected. It might help with keeping sand off towels (at the beach) or keep your blanket from getting wet on soggy grass, but you absolutely would want to have something else over the top to add comfort because this provides none. It is visually nothing exciting, but that is moderately expected. I didn’t notice any particular scent when opening the package, but the plastic smell permeated the blanket I put over top. When packing it back up for the return (because it wasn’t what I wanted at all) I couldn’t get it to fold up small enough to put back in the tiny bag it came in. It wasn’t the worst, but it definitely wasn’t what I was looking for.

I used it for a backyard movie night to lay down pillows and blankets on top of it and avoid possibly dirty or humid grass. The kids enjoyed themselves it really helps as an extra protection layer. The stakes remained perfectly in position and held it down. Can't wait to use it at the beach or camping.

Seriously, looks like it was patched together with scrap materials and the thin sheets cannot fit in thee carrier bag it came with. I have to compress it and fold a special way to barley fit it back in. Can the company make it a little larger please? Do not recommend.

Ich habe mich für die Stranddecke entschieden, da sie angeblich für die Waschmaschine geeignet ist. Siehe in den Informationen:"Ist es wasserdicht und geeignet für die waschmaschine?Antwort: Mit einem sensitiven / milden Reinigungsmittel und mit der kältesten Temperatur der Waschmaschine kann es gewaschen werden. Das Material selbst ist Wasserbeständig, ähnlich wie das Material von Zelten. Stranddecke Ultraleicht Nach dem Waschen definitv zum Trocknen aufhängen. "Ich habe mich an die vorgegebenen Anweisungen gehalten. Leider ist die Decke am Boden bröselig geworden und verliert die Beschichtung. So würde ich nur noch die Umwelt verschmutzen und sie ist nicht mal mehr "wasserabweisend".Sehr ärgerlich und für mich nicht mehr brauchbar.

Obwohl in der Artikelbeschreibung deutlich steht, dass diese Decke in der Waschmaschine gewaschen werden kann, verliert diese Decke, nach einer Wäsche mit Feinwaschmittel und auf geringster Waschtemperatur, die Beschichtung auf der Rückseite der Decke. Somit ist diese Decke nicht mehr wasserfest. Eine Reklamationen beim Verkäufer (Likorlove) ist mir über Amazon nicht möglich. Ebenso war es mir leider nicht möglich, hier ein Bild von der abgelösten Beschichtung hochzuladen. Ein Stern gibt es nur, weil ich einen vergeben muss! Wer etwas vernüftiges haben möchte, sollte diesen Artikel besser nicht kaufen!

Leider habe ich es versäumt, das Produkt rechtzeitig zurückzusenden, weshalb ich es dann doch genutzt habe. Das ganze hat nichts mit einer Stranddecke zu tun. Das ist eine Plastikplane, mehr nicht. Niedrige Qualität und für Strandbesuche absolut ungeeignet, da das Wasser nicht abfließt und man dann in einer Pfütze sitzt.
