It works well as a case, and was very affordable and protective.

Ok, I got this for an old phone of my wife's that we just replaced with a newer one. This one is being handed down to my daughter. My wife's old note 9 has been beat to death. both the back and the screen seriously broken. However it still just keeps working. It's not safe to hold though because of all the cracked and broken glass exposed on the edges of the screen and chunks broken out of the back. It survived getting run over with a lawnmower about a year ago. With a screen protector and case on it, it is almost hard to tell that it went through hell and is as badly damaged as it is. This case was a cheap order that looked sturdy so that the phone could hopefully last a year or two more for my daughter. When I opened it box i was impressed. it is a hard 2 piece shell that the phone fits in with a thick rubber cover that goes around the shell. It is a bit bulky but not as bad as the leather fold covers I use for the same phone that I have. It also has a very significant ridge around the screen that recesses the screen. With this case and a new 9h tempered glass screen protector the phone looks new and I expect it to survive a fair amount of abuse. overall I think i got more than I expected. I am going to purchase a second one for my other daughters galaxy s9

What a great case! It fit my Samsung Galaxy note perfectly. Once everything was lined up, installation was a breeze. All ports line up and I like that the charging port has a cover to prevent debris from entering my phone. All the protective layers make this very durable as well as the non-slip finish.

After four years, my Otterbox Defender case (for Galaxy Note9) started to break down and fall apart, but they are no longer available. After trying some other replacements I went with this one. It fits well and functions about as well as the real Otterbox. The question is how well it will hold up, and if it protects as well. It appears to be as protective, but I'm not willing to put it to a full test! I have found only two shortcomings: the covers over the plugs at the bottom are harder to open than on the original Otterbox, and when laid face down, the phone slides around more than it did with the original, but it is better than the other replacements I tried. When installing the case, you have to separate the rubber outer cover form the hard "frame," which was a bit difficult. I found that pulling it apart starting at the lower right corner, when the Note9's stylus is stored, was the easiest place to peel it apart. Once parted there the rest was not difficult. I've had this a couple weeks and would purchase it again, assuming it holds up going forward.
