Works great, easy to use, and very satisfying!
I purchased this handbrake for CarX Drift Racing Online, and it really changed up my gameplay, pulling a giant lever is super satisfying and helps with control quite a bit, especially since I was trying to press a button on the wheel mid-turn. The whole thing is built out of anodized aluminum and nicely lubricated with something thick. Very little setup required, a few nuts and bolts to mount the handbrake to the desk mount, and then the handle to the base. It comes with two sleeves that go over the handle, each a different texture, I prefer the more rubbery dense foam to the breathable matte stuff, though swapping them was a little tricky, if you're having trouble try pushing up from the bottom of the grip, not trying to pull it upward.I was concerned about the desk mount being too thin or cheap, but it's super nice. Nice, thick aluminum with some rubberized pads to protect your desk surface, and the same threaded bolts that my monitor arm uses to mount to my desk. I will say that it needs to be pretty damn tight to not shift around mid-race, so I'll probably add something to widen the face of the bolt a little; it's not a huge issue because I don't feel concerned about the handbrake sliding off my desk, it's just a little disorienting at times and it's such an easy fix I may as well. If you have a different desk that isn't hollow-core and made out of particle board, you can probably just crank this thing super tight and it won't be an issue.Durable, works with my games, helped me improve a little, and does exactly what's advertised! What's not to like?

Perfect
This is the real deal. If you're looking for a great hand break for PC racing that won't break the bank, is rugged and reliable, plug and play, and adjustable in countless ways, your search is over.I had to drill some new mounting holes in my racing stand, which I expected. I use this brake in combination with a Thrustmaster TMX and a GT Omega Pro steering wheel stand. After getting it mounted, I plugged it in and let Windows 10 so it's thing. Then I tossed on my Quest 2, and hopped into Dirt Rally. Went into the options menu, selected the brake in the list of controllers, and assigned it to my hand brake and that was all I needed to do.And that's basically all I've needed to do in any of the driving games I play. The brake is analogue, and although it feels like the spring is very stiff, once you get it mounted it's really not and has just the right resistance. They do provide an extra spring, as well as an extra foam cover for the hand grip. This is the real item, by the way. There are a LOT of cheaper knock-offs out there, but this is the real deal.I strongly recommend this break for anyone who of looking for a realistic, reliable and easy to use solution for PC driving simulations.

Good value for money but not perfect
The handbrake works as expected and is less expensive than many brand name alternatives but it's not perfect. One of the screws on the plastic came stripped. Not a big deal since it seems to stay in place fine. There are two design issues I found.First, the handbrake itself doesn't engage for the first third of the travel. The reason is that the handbrake uses a magnet to sense the position and the magnet doesn't reach the sensor until you have pulled it about a third of the way back. The handbrake can be adjusted so that the initial slack is taken out but what's the point of having that much travel if it doesn't do anything, especially since you can make adjustments for dead zone in games. The second issue is that the stop for the handbrake is that small screw on the end that impacts the thin plastic plate. When I drive Dirt Rally 2.0, the handbrake subs as a clutch and you just let go causing a hard impact. While I haven't had any issues yet, I expect that eventually the plastic plate on the end will break. The clamp could also be a bit better. The foam on the underside came lose a bit and caused some rubbing or pulled the finish off my desk. It's also just a metal disk on the bottom so it is likely leaving some marks though I haven't checked since it's on the bottom and I don't care.I was able to solve the issue with the foam pads by just putting wrapping a post-it note around the edge of my desk but it would be nice if the clamp used a more durable pad.Aside from that, it's a handbrake and works as expected and it's impressive that they can pack that much metal and plastic in plus the electronics for just the price. (I think I paid around $120)Even with the small issues, I would still recommend it over a $300 handbrake unless you just have money to blow. Just make sure you protect your desk and maybe add a rubber washer behind the adjustment screw to absorb some of the impact.

Very good feel and solid construction
I use this product for assetto corsa and wrc 10. Not a great driver, but I love the feel and customization options on this device. All metal and carbon, great packaging. first thing I did when I got it was took it apart and put it back together, and had a great time doing it. Probably the nicest piece of sim equipment I own.

Annoyed, would give it a 0 if I could
Just recieved the product today would love to try it but the screw for the clamp is way bigger than the hole drilled so it can’t even be mounted so what’s the point it comes with a lot of screws and things but no directions on what they’re for so you’re just sitting there confused for something that was on sale for $80 and supposed to be plug n play find something better if you’re reading this

Great wuality
Wuality blew me away for the price east to use and easy to hook up. Came with all tools and parts needed to change the dampening of the spring. 10/10 recommend

Much better quality that expected!
The build quality is phenomenal, works flawless and has a comfortable axis. Plus mounted directly to my rig.You just have to remember to pull it when you first load up the game to allow it to do its calibration.Only downside is the clamp only will tighten to a thicker surface like a desk not a thin profile rig

Could have a stronger spring
Works well for the price paid but spring could be stronger. All in all I would happily buy again.

Good entry level option
Was a bit hesitant to order due to other reviews pointing out some issues that have occured. Fortunately the unit I received did not share the same issues. Not sure if there was a revision to the handbrake, but out of the box my unit came with no side to side handle wobble and all the appropriate components greased. The travel does not register for a bit on the initial pull, but you can adjust the pull distance with a screw on the back. The bolts do come loose, but a little loctite or teflon tape solved that issue easily. Will need to wrap the handle as the provided sleeve comes loose and does not hug the handle properly. Overall happy with the purchase compared to the more expensive brands.

Good quality for the price
I bought the same handbrake without the electronics a couple years ago to make one, and it was loose and poorly machined, this one have no rattles from nothing, came with grease on every moving parts so it makes no noises. It was almost plug and play, only a wizard for a quick setup and mapping it worked great on assetto (content manager), forza horizon 5, beam and CarX.The only downside is that it feels "empty" the restriction is not there even with the stronger spring that came with it installed, it stops when it reach is mechanical limit. I will try to make a rubber stopper for it to increase the feel.
