Delectable scent
My significant other loves this on me! He said I smell like a human dessert! Scent last all day and is light and distinguished.

Great!
Love this more than the original fragrance. Has a sweeter, coconut smell to it that is more wearable than the og. It's still a heavy scent, but less loud and in your face. The packaging is stunning as always. The size is great. Overall just a great perfume!

Weighty gourmand
Fragrance is HIGHLY subjective, so it's hard to write a review that's in any way helpful. I will say that I have no reason to think this is anything other than authentic merchandise, and I've dealt with fragrances in this line more than once and do know what to expect.I also like the trend towards sustainability - if you're going to wear this long enough, you'll be able to refill your bottle, and that seems like it should already be the case across the board. I've got some fragrances that I will absolutely use up and keep buying, and others that I'll buy once but not keep in the permanent collection - fair enough - but for the ones I'm rebuying, it's annoying to throw out what I know full well was a not insignificant part of my purchase price. The fragrance itself is not for me. I'm one of those folks on whom a fragrance is either going to explode or disappear, and the ones that explode are the ones that are already borderline too heavy for my taste. This doesn't blow up, but it's a big, big fragrance. If you're familiar with the original Angel, I'd describe this as the very, very sweet opposite side to that coin - where Angel is more dry, this is almost syrupy. That takes some of the edge off, so if that's what keeps you from liking Angel, this might be worth a go. If you don't like gourmand, this is not for you. It's basically Angel with a heavy dose of coconut. It's got pineapple only in the same sense that, say, Aventus has pineapple, which is to say not at all but somehow yes it does. It puts the idea of pineapple into my head more than I think I *smell* pineapple. I'm sure it's there, but compared to the heavy, woodsy, ambery, coconutty things already happening, it's not a surprise that I don't consciously smell that one accord.I generally am not one to recommend blind buys, and this is no different - if anything, it's more necessary here, because I don't think this is going to have a lot of meh reactions. It's going to be love or hate. I HATE it on me. It's probably fine on other folks, though, because again I think my chemistry brings out the heaviness here and on people for whom it wears a little lighter, applied with a reasonable hand, it's probably quite nice. Y'all seriously back off, especially on the heavier things like this, the weighty Kilians, MFK, Le Labo kind of things - if people can smell you more than an arm's length away, you're doing it wrong and you may well be causing actual respiratory distress, not to mention disrespecting the fragrance itself. For frags like this one (and anything on the heavier side), it smells LESS good when there's too much of it. That's why it's bad on me - it grows too much. Overspraying wastes product both in the sense of using more than necessary, and also in the sense that you waste its potential to smell its best by turning it into an overwhelming beast.

Sumptuous Finish That Lingers
I recently had the chance to try Angel Fantasm by Mugler through the Vine program, and it was a sensory revelation. Launched in 2024, this new fragrance is a masterpiece that elevates the classic Angel scent into a realm of pure fantasy. From the first spritz, I'm greeted by the invigorating top notes of vibrant pineapple and zesty bergamot, which immediately awaken my senses with their bright, fruity allure. As the fragrance develops, the heart reveals a lush blend of creamy coconut and delicate tiare flower. It feels like I'm enveloped in a tropical breeze, where the sweetness of ripe fruit mingles with the smooth, velvety texture of coconut. As the day goes on, the base notes of patchouli, bourbon vanilla, and amber emerge, adding a captivating depth to the fragrance. The patchouli introduces a subtle, grounding earthiness, while the bourbon vanilla and amber create a warm, sumptuous finish that lingers beautifully on my skin. The perfume comes in a mesmerizing black star bottle, making it not just a scent but a statement piece. Angel Fantasm Eau de Parfum Sensuelle is a long-lasting fragrance that combines ambery, gourmand, and fruity notes into a daringly feminine concoction. Wearing it feels like stepping into a fantastical world where every moment is an adventure in sensuality.

Rich And Elegant
Angel Fantasm Eau de Parfum by Mugler comes beautifully packaged in a light grey box, with a 3.3 fluid ounce refillable bottle. The bottle itself is a stunning, heavy glass in the shape of a star—elegant and sleek, making it a luxurious addition to any vanity. The sprayer delivers a fine mist, providing just the right amount for one application without being overpowering. A simple mist in the air to walk through leaves a lasting impression. The fragrance is a rich, warm, sweet scent that's both sophisticated and sensual, giving off a mature vibe. It opens with vibrant fruity notes but settles into deep, warm undertones of vanilla and patchouli. Notes of bergamot, patchouli, coconut, amber, and vanilla are beautifully balanced, creating a calm and refined scent. The coconut and vanilla combination is prominent, with the patchouli complementing rather than overpowering the blend. Upon first spray, the perfume bursts with fresh pineapple and bergamot, which quickly dry down to a subtle vanilla-coconut mix. It’s an intriguing blend of fruity and earthy tones with a warm amber base that doesn’t turn powdery. The sillage is strong, lasting for several hours, and the scent remains present throughout the day. This is a rich, elegant fragrance that works perfectly as a nighttime scent but isn’t too heavy for daytime wear. It dries down to a slightly more subdued version but retains its luxurious feel. Angel Fantasm is a versatile, multifaceted perfume suitable for everything from work and school to a night out, offering a dreamy balance between sensuality and elegance.

Patchouli with compelling tropical notes
This perfume really grew on me. I am not a huge fan of the original Angel scent by Mugler, I find the patchouli to be heavy and strangely aldehydic. Fantasm retains this same patchouli-forward scent, but pairs it with a sweet coconut milk scent and pineapple top notes. The scent dies down after 30 or so minutes into a lovely herbal coconut smell. It's a surprising combination, and I ended up favoring it over the original.
