As others have said, the upper can be simply ripped up off the sole, detaching the two pieces. As the all-in-one upper is injection moulded plastic, it makes your feet overly warm & likely to sweat (despite the holes in the top part of the upper). The insole within the upper, has tiny rough raised 'pimple' moulding which is clearly meant to provide some texture/grip under the sole of your foot. Totally unwearable! You have been warned! And I almost forgot - the sizes are not right. A purchased UK size 8 is actually more accurately described as being a UK size 7.
