GREAT GREAT product, well designed. the only issue i had is with the tape it comes with.. The tape stuck very strong for a few days at first ( and YES I followed the instructions ) but since my ring and mount is on the front door it is facing the direct sunlight during the mornings it lost its stickiness.. so what I had to do was put some heavy duty Velcro strips on the back of it to hold it in place. Other then that I really like this bracket

I live in a house that I am renting. I got permission to install the Ring doorbell after we had some incidents, but we were told we could not drill or connect it to the house wiring. This plate mounted nicely to the door. It is tightly secured to the door. It is easy to remove the Ring unit from the plate to charge. Worth the money paid.

Ring is an Amazon product. Given that all of these products should work correctly and also have easy to use set up instructions it is ridiculous that this mount does not come with proper instructions to use with the latest versions of the ring doorbell. The instructions they link you to are for previous versions.Amazon makes billions and billions but for some reason are unable to send the correct instructions on how to install a doorbell with this mount that they sell as a part of the package… for one of their best selling products.I had to look through numerous user reviews before finding the correct way to install this.People who paid money for this product are the ones who figured out how to install it and shared the information.Amazon gives you not only zero information but completely wrong information. They actually had me unscrew the faceplate of the doorbell which are instructions for the older versions of the doorbell. Absurd.What is Amazon doing with their money when they can’t even provide proper instructions and support for their sales leading products?

Works on excellent brick other materials not so much. Brought two for my new home and it lost its stickiness. I used other brands to suffice for the mount… I was unsuccessful. Came home to find my doorbell unmounted… wasn’t a happy camper. I had to buy a new mount for my ring.

Works great and very easy to instal. Just peel of the backing of the 2 strips of sticky tape and position where wanted.
