Finally, a solution for chapped, irritated, peeling lips!
This is a must must must have for me, forever, now that I've discovered it. I've suffered from peeling lips since I was a toddler. I've tried endless elimination diets and toothpaste and facial soap changes, etc., trying all the tricks to sort out if it's a deficiency or sensitivity, etc. Dermatologist prescriptions also don't seem to help long term. My peeling lips mostly went away for a handful of years in adolescence, only to return with a vengeance by my mid 20's. It became something I lived with thinking nothing would ever help. Then I joined a social media group on peeling lips and I saw this stuff recommended a few times. I'd just shelled out close to a hundred bucks on a bunch of new lip masks that did nothing, so wasn't super keen on buying more useless products, but decided to give it a try. I also gave other tips of theirs a try including being mindful of washing off all toothpaste product from my lips, making sure no saliva stays on my lips, etc. The combination of these things as well as a once week exfoliation has made all the difference. For one, this is the first product where I apply before bed, and I can still feel the product the next morning. Even the most pricey lip masks couldn't do that. It goes on thick like petroleum jelly and really sticks. During the day, I have to apply more frequently as I'm eating, drinking, and rubbing my lips together more often. But that's ok. I apply maybe 2 - 3 times during my work shift, and then again at bedtime. It's been about 4 weeks of being careful with toothpaste/ saliva, etc., and about 2 weeks of using this product, and what a difference! My lips still peel a bit, but nothing like before where they'd look horrible and patchy and disgusting with multiple layers peeling off unevenly. Now they look almost healed, with just the outer layer peeling here and there. I never want to be without this stuff ever ever again. It is so effective, easy to apply, there is no scent, it leaves a slight sheen on my lips but not so much that my husband couldn't partake and still look normal, and it really does moisturize well. I'm so freaking thrilled for a solution to a lifelong issue. People who complain about the cost haven't tried some of the crazy expensive products I have. I get where it might feel pricey if using over large areas of your body, but for lip stuff, even applying frequently, it will last quite some time. I also had a suspected basal cell carcinoma removed this week from near my nose, and the protocol is to keep it moisturized with petroleum jelly. I happened to have a tube of this stuff in my purse and asked my dermatologist if I could use it instead of petroleum jelly and she got excited and says she loves that stuff for her eczema and psoriasis folks, and said I could definitely use it instead of petroleum and it might even help better with scarring. I told her how much it was helping my lips and she said she was going to make a note of it.

Better Than Aquaphor & CeraVe
I’ve been an Aquaphor fan for years, but after trying Homeoplasmine I’m so glad I made the switch! Honestly, it’s better than Aquaphor, CeraVe Healing Ointment, and pretty much every other lip balm I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot). It stays on my lips much longer, easily an hour or more, while still keeping them moisturized. With Aquaphor, it always felt like it disappeared within minutes. I also had noticed I’d been getting little whiteheads around my lips, and since switching over a month ago, I haven’t had a single one. I highly recommend it not just for lips, but also for minor wounds, dry patches, and even eczema. I even used a little on my dog’s itchy spots, and it helped! Love this product and will definitely be repurchasing.

My new must-have
"Magic Cream" is what it truly is. Initially, I thought it was going to be a glorified Vaseline type product and, in a way, it is, but it's more than that. PROS: -- Thicker than p.jelly. It felt as if it were at least twice as thick (and maybe a bit more). -- This is not as visibly greasy or greasy-feeling as is pet jelly. -- After the product absorbs (I really noticed this when using it on my lips), the moisture & softness remains for a LONG time. I am someone who tends to lick my lips and dry them out. This cream STILL helped keep them moisturized. -- Absorbs (so it's like a p. jelly that acts a bit like a lotion) -- Creates a noticeable barrier. After washing my hands, this locked in the moisture without being irritating. -- No odor at all -- Was non-irritating to my face when I applied it on an especially dry day. (I probably will only use it on my face when weather is crazy dry, but I wanted to see how it worked.) I also like that the tube was foil sealed & the product contained additional information. (It was easy to translate using an camera app.) Mainly, what impressed me enough to get a Subscribe & Save on this is the way it soothed my dry, chapped lips. The effects lasted for hours - literally & I didn't have to keep reapplying it over and over. It might seem pricey on the surface, but because the effects are so good and do last, it's completely worth it - even on my tiny budget.

Works Pretty Well
This ointment is very thick; a little goes a long way. It softens rough spots very nicely, but must be reapplied several times per day. I understand the need in areas that become moist, but not in dry. I do like the consistency of it and the fact that it is unscented. I suppose it's worth the cost since the tube lasts a very long time.

Long lasting and Moisturizing
This is so moisturizing on the lips! I to use burts bees but I had to apply every hour and not nearly as hydrating. This lasts sooooo long. I am never going back to generic chapstick. This is all I need!!

Holy grail
I have been using this for years and it is the holy grail for moisture. My lips get so dry in the winter, but when I use it at night they’re perfect in the morning. Idk what kind of magic this uses but it truly works miracle! Any cuts or dry patches anywhere get a little dab of this and it heals them better than anything else. This company also makes other remedies that work amazingly. Also, some people mention that it’s basically glorified Vaseline…it is so much more but a similar texture.

Aquaphor vs Homeoplasmine
Bought this on a whim. Absolutely did not like how my lips felt afterwards. I'm a frequent Aquaphor user for my lips and Aquaphor feels great, melts nicely and provides a lasting hydrated feeling. After putting homeoplasmine on my lips they feel terrible. They feel tight and unmoisturized even after multiple applications each resulting in the same feeling. It also makes my lips tacky and stick together it does not melt into your skin just seems to pull moisture out of my lips and disappear. I'm tempted to just toss the tube but I guess I'll keep it around due to the price and see if any other uses come up
