Good mouse, mediocre software
This was bought to replace an ageing wireless mouse, and for the money it's a good buy. The Logitech software meant to be used with it is annoying to use, and seems pretty bulky for a simple mouse. The only real customisation is DPI and buttons, and yet you have to use some bulky software to do it.

Battery Life is relatively good
Wanted to go Wireless after my wired Harpoon started double clicking after 3 years of intense use (RIP soldier, you served well). Went with this mouse due to recommendations. It's perfect if you have palm grip (main reason why I returned it is because it's quite flat compared to the Harpoon, which has a hump at the back). I didn't care about the weight of it when using a AA battery (for those influenced by marketing, it supposedly weighs 99g and although yes I could feel the difference in weight when holding both mice in my hands, it didn't make much difference when playing games).Highlight of the show was battery life. My only other reference was the Rival 3 Wireless, which I bought after this. I used the G305 for about 3 weeks on a AA battery and then switched to the Rival 3 which has 2 AAAs. That thing started flashing LEDs at me after 1 week of use. So in comparison G305 wins. Yes not very scientific, but I'm just writing down what I know.Other reason why I returned was lack of Bluetooth, though this is very user specific. I have 2 systems and frequently switch between the two throughout the day. Employer gave me a HP travel mouse and I fell in love with it's ability to connect to two devices and switch between them at the push of a button (this was the reason I bought the Rival 3, though its connectivity switch is under it so less intuitive but hey ho).In conclusion, if you don't mind/prefer its flat shape, and you don't need the convenience of quickly switching between two devices, this mouse is basically perfect. Some rechargeable AA batteries and a charger would be about £15 so bear that in mind for any mouse with AA/AAA batteries. I for one am probably going to go back to Corsair and try their Harpoon Wireless: uses microUSB for charging (no AA or AAA headache), so put a magnetic charger on that bad boy and I've got a little docking station for my mouse + bluetooth + Nice Rear End (I mean the little hump :D )

Depends what you are using it for
I bought this mouse to use at work for CAD, so I'm not the target audience for this product.Well built, super light weight, responsive and great for a people that like to claw/finger grip.

I just thought I was bad at games.
This mouse had changed the game for me personally. I always knew I could of been slightly better with my aim on apex legends I knew I was using really bad cheap mouse's. So I opted for a Logitech brand and oh my am I not disappointed. The tracking is so smooth and the sensor is so accurate. No spin off. No high liftoff. Decent weight with a battery put in. Battery life is immaculate. I think I've replaced the battery once since in 5 months.Only down side is it is slightly small for a bigger hands. My index finger was twitching so hard for the first month or so using this (I think due to the size) but now I'm fully used to it and beaming kids for fun.Next wireless mouse I'd upgrade to from here would be a g lite pro.

Not for heavy fingers
Gave this to my wife as the buttons were way too sensitive for my fat fingers and I got loads of unwanted button clicks. I like to rest my fingers on the buttons. This is actually the second one she's had, the first one died when she dropped it on the floor. It had something rattling around inside that turned out to be a surface mount component that had come off the board. After soldering it back on it was still dead, so it went in the bin. I tried! Nice black mainboard, and about a brazillion tiny screws inside. She's not mentioned battery life so I'll take that as 'it's good'.

Feels like a wired mouse
The mouse is great overall. The battery is the only thing that gives it (physical) weight. For those who are be concerned about the latency of wireless mice, I have felt no difference at all, even while gaming.I would definetely buy this again when my current one becomes unusable.
