SheaMoisture Shampoo and Conditioner Set, Deep Moisturizing, 13 Oz Ea

Great product

Ok I've been using this product for a month now. My hair type is 3A soft and curly and a little dry and frizzy. Its in the short side. I had a pixie cut last year and have been growing it out for about 3 months now. It is just above my shoulders so growth is not a real problem. My hair has always been long to my waist or lower back. However I struggle with keeping it hydrated hence the dry and frizzy hair that lead to my decision to by the Shea butter moisture retention shampoo and restoration conditioner. Pro's- it really works. I noticed an immediate difference in how my hair air dried. I Usually air dry but always end up with frizzy hair. However after washing my hair with the Shae butter shampoo and conditioner there was a noticeable difference in the texture of my hair when washing and air drying. My hair has grown considerably and the dryness is barely there. Granted curly hair is always harder to hydrate but this shampoo and conditioner have considerably reduced dryness and added moisture and helped define my curls. I paln to use other Shea Butter curl moisturizers and hydrating creams. My husband loves my long curly hair and is so excited that I'm growing it out again but he daily notices and compliments my curls. I am extremely pleased with product results. Moisture, hydration and curl definition. Con's- the bottles are little small and you have to use a lot of shampoo and conditioner for my short hair to get a really nice lather. I have to wash my hair once a week. So after two months and 4-5 washes per month its almost time for a new bottle. I think I can get 2 more washes so Its good for about 8 weeks. For the price I guess its worth it. Another con I didn't like the pump the conditioner is to thick to pump threw the small pump but its not a really deterrent. I wish I didn't have to pay so much for quality shampoo but I make this my one splurge for my hair health. In conclusion, I really do love the results and I think you will to. The best shampoo I have ever purchased. Doesn't leave my hair dry.

I really wanted to love this set. I was using a different brand that I absolutely love but at $20 a bottle for the shampoo and the conditioner and the body wash, it wasn't budget friendly. So I set out to find a similar set without spending a lot. I did a lot of research because I'm pregnant and nursing and hate to use toxic products in general. Shea Moisture brand was very low rated on EWG (a good thing) and I liked the lack of toxins and the short ingredient list in their products. After my first try: The shampoo and conditioner do in fact have a very strong smell. It's isn't a bad smell, just a very heavy men's cologne fragrance that overwhelmed me. So much so that I received a headache after my shower. I've used it a second time and the smell didn't bother me as much but it was still very noticeable. My hair is very soft, shiny and manageable. My husband agreed it was strong smelling but he enjoyed the manly smell. I didn't need as much to clean my hair as other products in comparison and there is a lather but don't expect tons of suds, it's a sulfate free product and sulfates cause lather. For now, I'll keep using it but I'm not sure I'll re-order. I washed my hair almost 24 hours ago and it is dry and still carries a heavy cologne smell.

Love the shampoo makes my waves softer and nicer not as frizzy, the conditioner on the other hand doesn’t detangle my hair or feels as silky as I personally like :/ so I’ll keep using the shampoo but with a different conditioner

I bought this item because I thought it contains the shampoo and the conditioner as well as it shows in the picture. However, it is only the conditioner!!!

I came across this shampoo by chance, and I’m really glad I decided to order this set. After using it, my hair really feels softer, and the conditioner makes the effect even better. The shampoo has a very pleasant scent, although I didn’t really like the smell of the conditioner.

This product is amazing and I love it ... will be purchasing again !!!!
