Black Garlic 7 oz (200 g) Japanese Fermented Superfood, Whole Bulbs

Tasty, fermented, not overly garlicky, lots of uses for upping your umami quotient. The garlic bulb is black though the outer skins are not. Was a little challenging to find ways to use it that didn't change the color of the soup, stew or sauce, but it's good in marinara, beef stew, etc.

I love black garlic!! This one has a sweet, potent smell and taste. It’s not super moist, but I kinda like that about it. I also love that it’s still in the clove so you get to peel it. I’ve bought a lot of different brands; the best one is tied between one I found at a Korean grocery store, and this Black Gold brand one that they used to sell in my local HEB. But in my opinion this one is one of the better ones that’s easy to get! I like it and I’d recommend it to black garlic enjoyers :)

Taste is really sweet right out of the container. I used these to make black garlic oil. I chopped them up and fried them in a neutral oil and it took away some of the sweetness

Delicious. First time trying black garlic and I must say it is a new staple ingredient for our household. The quality seems great it’s buttery soft and smells wonderful. I highly recommended it.

This product has a wonderful sweet flavor and the garlic is not at all overpowering. Will purchase again.
