Very cheap, thin material. Minimal padding. Doesn't conform to the knee or stay in place. I should have know better. A good pair of working (vs sports) pads costs many times more, which is what I usually spend. But I was lured in the the many positive reviews (with which I respectfully disagree) and ignored my go to admonition , "you usually get what you pay for" GEOB, Los Angeles
