Works well for baking bread where you have to heat the Dutch oven to high temperatures
I use my Le Creuset dutch ovens frequently for baking sourdough bread and this black nickel knob works great for the high temperatures required. I don't know why they just don't sell the Dutch ovens with this knob instead of making you buy a replacement.

Nickel nob is NOT black
Nickel knob is NOT black looking; it looks silvery which is not how it is represented; quality looked ok (but these knobs are very lightweight) but the color is nothing like represented

Suspicious
Doesn’t screw flush and seems flimsy which makes this item a little sus.

Not black like in product photo.
Fine as a knob but not actually black like the product photo indicates. See real photo for better representation.

Nice Look but, It Gets HOT!!!
It looks great, but if you cook/simmer with the lid out, watch out. This is metal. It gets hot!
