Preset cooking times with symbols.
A standing joke in our house is a saying “check your chips” which was said about oven chips before getting the air fryer. The main feature that I like about this air fryer is the preset cooking functions so you don’t have to worry about checking your chips anymore. Very easy to distinguish because the pre set buttons have symbols for identification. You can also use the manual plus or minus settings if you wish to crisp anything up.Included with the air fryer is the collecting tray, cooking baskets, rotisserie basket, removal tool and an instruction guide. We are non meat eaters so not able to comment on the chicken cooking gadgets supplied but we do like the light on the air fryer so we can check our chips.

Easy to use
The pros- it's easy to set up and use and like other air fryers it offers a good cooking alternative that cooks food wellThe cons- it's a little big and bulky and not as flexible in use as draw based air fryersOverall decent for the price

Huge, uneven cooking and filled the kitchen with smoke
This 12L Belaco air fryer is huge and looks more like a miniature oven than an air fryer. There are no drawers but the option to use shelves, although they're quite restrictive, depending what you're cooking, as there isn't really enough height to use both mesh shelves, especially with the handles/holders in the middle of the unit. It comes with a variety of accessories:1 x U-shaped drip/baking tray (not rectangular as shown on the sales page)2 x U-shaped mesh shelves1 x rotisserie1 x skewer set1 x metal cage/round basket1 x metal tool to remove food/implementsThere is a hole to insert the left hand side of the round basket (marked L) but you need to find the dip in the holder on the right hand side for it to fit which is fiddly. It's not the best design.Another issue I found was that the lead for the plug is very short, you need to keep the air fryer close to a plug or, not an ideal alternative, use an extension lead. When you switch the device on at the plug, it immediately switches on – you'll need to switch it off on the display of the machine until you're ready to start cooking. There are a choice of presets eg steak and, if you use these, they'll flash whilst in use.I like that it has a light to see how cooking is going. Switch it on via the display and the lightbulb on the display will flash until you switch the light off.The instruction manual was very limited, it didn't even explain how to insert the rotisserie so I wondered if there was part of the machine missing until I found that little groove on the right-hand holder inside the machine. It did come with a recipe booklet but it wasn't the best selection, although there are plenty of books or online articles which are available. I would have liked a basic chart showing what cooks for how long, for instance.I cooked steak and tomatoes and was really looking forward to my lunch until my kitchen was filled with smoke. My steak was perfectly cooked on one end and completely cold and raw on the other. Some cherry tomatoes were perfectly cooked and others cold and uncooked.I had high hopes on ordering but this is a huge machine nd cooks unevenly, plus the time it says a steak should take to cook is the same it would take in an oven, albeit without waiting for the oven to heat, but at least it would be cooked properly in an oven. Not the '2X faster than a conventional oven' advertised. It also filled my kitchen with smoke which was very worrying. I can't really recommend it, 2*

It's great but it just not safe.
For a air fryer / mini oven its great and there is plenty of room to cook a dinner for 2 in it. It cooks well and the food was crispy but so was the door. That's the main problem with this is that it started to cook the door for lack of a better term. After cooking 2 trays of bacon at 200C for 9 min it the door plastic started to bubble and crack. All the praise I was going to give this air fryer for being great for doing kebabs, fish and meats when right out the window when this happened. As you can see in the photo the top of the door started to bubble and the right most on is a crack rather than a bubble. I can't think of how this passed quality control at any point from R&D to QC before shipping. Now being fully transparent I did receive this air fryer for free so at least I didn't spend my money on this and that being the case I would also recommend you save yours and look elsewhere for a air fryer that is less of a fire hazard and maybe even a health hazard with the chemicals being emitted from the burnt plastic.
